Good for you. That's only your choice, you are happy not using all functionalities, I am happy using all posibilities....Both we are happy with our HOTAS. So, a product must be flexible. More options, better in order to fit the preferences of a bigger customer base. All we need? Sure? I am not fan of pontificate. Each customer has his own way. And each product has his own features. For Example CH has 3 modes of operation (green, red and orange), 4 with CMC...They cannot be used without his own software. We can add some functions to 1 button in list mode (for example, in Mi-8 change from pilot, to copilot, navigator and gunner). Also all CH products are combined in his own software so, sim only see ONE device instead of 2, 3....again a useful feature in some simulators. CH Manager allows scripting...again flexibility. One of the best utilities is the CMprint, a software which print a scheme of your HOTAS with all buttons labeled automatically. You can use it only filling the proper text box in CH Manager. Easy-peasy to use, and to code. There are a lot of Sims in the market and there are some in the pipeline...not only DCS :doh: so, a good software is a good feature for any product. Freedom is the ability to choose. :music_whistling:

Quality feeling is not equal to quality...only its an illusion. I remember that some Car makers spent a lot of money in order to modify the sound of his doors to sound more solid (like a 80's Volvo) or heavy 'cause customers see in a heavy door a quality proof. Same issue. I was able to open ME and place and save a Su-25mission as usual. Then, When i tried to add a Mi-8 The icon is not added to the map (and Mi-8 doesn't appear as a playable)..silent crash (crash without CTD or message). Create fast mission didn't work with Mi-8 (works fine with FC3 for example). dcs2.txt

In my case, vanilla, only my own skins. I deleted. Also I deletec DCS folder in Saved games. I tried a repair..Didn't work. Log added.

I have the same error. When i put a Mi-8. Instant action also don't work with Mi-8. dcs.txt

Para los fans de Aviaco, quizá les resulte simpático"Aviaco, la historia que nunca fue"sobre los esquemas que he ido haciendo a lo largo de los años sobre una hipotética reflotada Aviaco volando 737, Q400 e incluso 787 con una librea modernizada aunque reteniendo (o intentando) el encanto de la Aviaco que todos conocimos.

Ya de paso, volandolo hecho polvo o mejor dicho, un Franken Hip. Mañana los comparto ambos. Si, Mbendi1, no solo eso, podrían hacer sino como en FSX donde indicas en un archivo las rutas de los archivos del esquema. Así por solo 2 mb se podria meter varios archivos de cola con diferentes matriculas. Eso es posible en DCS pero la ruta esta fija y para un esquema, es mucho mejor no toquetear en ciertas carpetas. Mas que nada porque luego para borrarlo...se quedan los archivos base colgando en la carpeta del sim

Dado que soy un aficionado a Aviaco. Me ha parecido que un esquema a lo Interflug para el Mi-8 le quedaria bien....Y ciertamente a mi que encanta como ha quedado. Lamentablemente la matrícula es estátitca. Hay que trastear para que quede bien el sistema dinámico. En breve lo subo por si le interesa a alguien (además me sirve como copia de seguridad).

En la realidad depende de la configuración del aeródromo, en función de esa configuración se activan unas balizas u otras. Por defecto, la configuración es de despegue por la 04 y aterrizar por la 22. Por eso solo ves las balizas de la 22.
