El problema no es la RAM, yo lo hago funcionar con 4 gb de RAM y una vetusta GTS250 (que toca ya cambiarla). Con una configuración gráfica baja, buen tiempo y pocas unidades se puede volar sin problemas. El pantallazo puede venir por hardware en mal estado o configuración gráfica demasiado alta para el equipo.
