Thanks for the update. This module will be a truly piece of art.

Genial Maligno. Aunque lo mio no son las batidoras, todo lo que acerque a la comunidad española a la aviación y la segunda guerra mundial es siempre bienvenido. Sobre todo cuando es de la calidad de la que suele hacer gala el ESA.

I hope too. The fulcrum is the best fighter in DCS World

Thx for the info JO. Surely, you will finish this module before the release of EDGE

Fantastico Brisa!!! Gracias por el manual.

Imprescindible!

The SM is deployed ATM. They have at least 50 aircrafts upgraded to the SM standard. P.S. the upgrade still in development is the SM3.

IMO the best choice is the Northrop F-5E. It's not a very complex aircraft and a it's a good adversary for the fishbed-N. Translated to economics: low investment and high benefits.

Well, interesting debate. As GGTharos said, the Gratch wasn't designed to destroy MBTs. For this purpose, the soviet army have numerical superiority and other air assets. But brotha, the use of tactical nuclear weapons surely will be avoided by the soviets because in Europe they had numerical superiority. Thousands of MBTs, Choppers and infantry divisions. The frontal aviation was designed to support the ground forces in Close Air Support, interdiction..This advantage will be lost if they use tactical nuclear weapons in the first place. If the Soviets started the war, NATO forces would use the FOFA (Follow-On Forces attack) missions and close air support with conventional weapons too. In my opinion only when one of the contenders would be on the brink of a military collapse, the order of use nuclear tactical weapons would be released. But, the best choice for destroy MBTs is the Sujoi Su-25T (T for tankovyi, Antitank). :D Finally, answering the question, IMO S-24, S25L and FAB-500 are the best weapons for our lovely Gratch versus MBTs. But always the choice depends on the context of the fight.

Any major stuff still unfinished?
Ce_Zeta replied to msalama's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
We want the Sabre cockpit in Spanish, russian.... Not, really not serious. It's a sacrilege fly a soviet aircraft with a english cockpit. At the first stages of training is a bit hard, but later, you know the purpose of each button, switch... ATM you have the US Army manual to see the labels in english. -
Thanks for the info. It's very appreciated.

Absolutely Amazing! LNS

Hahaha "The evil is in the detail".

Yeah, The best scientist of all the world worked to develop the H-bomb. But dude this is an Off-topic. The maintenance is not a technical problem, it's an economic problem. Also they don't need the operativity of an Navy Wing. Surely they haven't 79 Tomcats (they lost some of them in the War) and surely not the half of the original fleet. China have a real problem in the field of metallurgy. Also they have a problem with innovation, creativity and proactivity. They are sending thousands of students to foreign universities. Here in Spain our Technical schools are overcrowded with future chinese engineers. Well, I am sure that 35 years is not a real number. They fought in a War during 8 years. In Metallurgy, maybe they have a better background than chinese. Or they have engines with lower expected life. The reverse engineering of the weapons System I think that is very hard....But they only need a flying aircraft for deterrence purposes....Not an operational weapons system. Well, some spare parts can be bought but other need reverse engineering because the only supplier is the USA.
-
Reverse engineering dude. If they have a nuclear program, they use reverse engineering to produce spare parts....Or buy some high technology from Russia (metallurgy and radar technology for example).

A great milestone was achieved!!! Congrats Aviodev.

Repair worked. But the instructions in this post are very very poor. Please in the future....write a complete procedure if required.

ED knows that the Fulcrum is the most beautiful fighter aircraft ever built. And of course, it is the best fighter in the sim. The Mig-29 wasn't udated in order to keep the game balance.
-
Hahaha Now Tango, you have a Master in Spanish aeronautics! :megalol:
-
Great job. Only a little thing...The driver is in the wrong side.

WTF!!! Nigga you are cheating??? Hell yeah! your Mi-8 have better performance than the Fishbed!

As in the link provided by JO said. There are some diferent versions (upgrades) of the Cyrano IV. The main role of the F1C is interception, with a secondary role of ground attack. They can attack ground targets but is a very marginal capacity (I am talking about the original C version). THe Cyrano IV have a very limited A/G capacity. They were able to use bombs and rockets but the precision was not good. A multirole aircraft is able to perform A/A and A/G task as his primary role when you want. CR, CT and M versions have the latest Cyrano IV version and a high precision navigation suite (INS-GPS). It's not a confusion, we need just follow the timeline. Only 2 countries bought the A version. South Africa (AZ) and Libya (AD). Both had the ranging radar Aida 2. The C version: South Africa (CZ), Greece (CG), Jordan (CJ), Spain (CE), Morocco (CH), Kuwait (CK) are all C versions. Later Kuwait upgraded his C to E version. This conversion was called CK-2, and they can launch the Armat Missile for example. Some buyers found the C version very limited in A/G. For this reason some of them bought also the E version. Spain (EE), Morocco (EH) and Jordan (EJ). This is a fact for say C is not the same than E version. As I know, the Atlis pod and Armat missile were exclusively used by E versions (Kuwait's CK-2 are E versions). Also others countries bought the E version. Ecuador bought this version and it was called JA. But JA is not an A! I dont understand the confusion because the A is in the second place. Other interesting buyer was Iraq (EQ) in the web you can read that his EQ had the Agave radar instead of the Cyrano. Others said that the Agave was a Myth. And a third group said that at least one of the six different standards delivered to Iraq was equipped with the Agave (EQ-5). Later, the state-of-art F1s were the french CT, CR and Spanish M versions. All upgrades were focused in the same devices. Updated radar (Cyrano IVM-R for french and Cyrano IVM for all spanish (we upgraded a mixed fleet of CE and EE). INS-GPS navigation suite, modern IFF, radios and HUD as a example. You can check the web for a more precise details about these modernizations.

The C is a pure interceptor, E is the multirole version. A is ground-Attack version. The customization in the F1 is not deeper than other Dassault fighters (M-III and M-5). But with the years, some C versions were updated and obtain multirole capacity (French C versions updated to CT and spanish CE updated to M version, for example) . Hahaha we want as a eye-candy an AI UFO and Caravelle!!! And of course the lizard cammo of Los Llanos!

I agree. I don't understand what is the idea of a "Russian minded" game. Obviously this is not an American's Army type of game.
