  1. Where? I never saw any of this. Did i miss an option? Appard from the casual read i never saw a detailed analysis of this. But a Company that made training software for the A10 should have acess to something, that could be used to simulate these effects.
  2. Redout could be an option. After all, the blood of a pilot rises up into his head and his guts "move" up.
  3. The effects of negative G are currently not portrait at all in the sim what makes it common practise to abuse. A lot of times my targets push the stick forward like there is no tomorrow, to evade my shots and I am guilty of doing it too. This always takes me out of the immersion. Standard G effects are IMHO spot on. I hope there are plans to introduce it.
  4. i hope a crew member at a gunnery station can do more than just use the gun. It would be totally stunning if we could move around in that plane. I was thinkling something like in silent hunter 5.

  6. The mod in the link is a mod that modifies the model enlagement, making it look less "jumbo" like. Try it out and see for yourself :)
  7. Mineshells have a delayed fuse what let it explode after it penetrated the surface it hit (even if just a bit). Normal HE explodes on impact on the surface. The difference of the damage dealt can be easily portrayed by letting a firecracker explode on top of a price of snow or buried into it. The result is much larger punctual damage (big ass hole) what is catastrophic on airplanes but rather pointless on soft targets, where the splash damage of standard HE is much more effective. The effectiveness of the Mineshells is much more related to how and when it blows up and fragments don fly far around inside of a wing, so more chemical power is the better choice. Besides, if the mineshells would be less effective than simpler HE designs from the time, why did other nation copy it, on for example the ADEN cannon?

  11. Why? Mg151/20 fires mineshells and can be synchronized with the propeller. Plus the 190 has mor than twice as many 20mm rounds. So you got less leathal shells, not centered (less accurate), plus you need to be a lot more trigger disciplined. I'm not sure about the higher muzzle velocity and somewhat higher firerate of the hispanos, being enough of an argument for the weapon to claim it is "simply better".
  12. Considering how most pilots fly in online pvp on public servers, i am tending to say that quite the opposite will be the case. After all this thing turns a lot better than what the germans have to offer and still has a good climbrate.
  13. I experienced this aswell in earlier builds. It feels like the loss of the elavator gets only noticed when one trys to use it. Same goes for trim.
  14. What about it? it handels great. However i can't wait to see cambat between the Dora and the mk9. Even if it is a 1943 version, it will be quite the opponent for the german fighters.

  16. Nah a completely new programming language specifically for flight sims is needed. In the process a completely new hardware architecture should be developed by ED as well.
  17. They will darken the sky on our server as soon as i can put them in there.
  18. If you use the mod estimating the distance is a lot easier and it doesn't look that stupid like in your attachment. However: or options are currently this or not spotting anything at all, so i can live with it for now.
  19. Proper late war WW2 scenarios. Even just a AI B17 would help a lot. With or without a map.

  21. As there is rather little new content that would justify a shift to Beta i leave it on stable. Expect a shift to beta if the spit or something like that gets released.
  22. The point was to shook the bomber formation so it breaks up so the interceptors could attack more isolated targets.
