Depends on how you see it. In nearly all responses about the development of the sim, we get reminded that most of the team is working on 2.5.
So we probably will get more updates frequently once 2.5. is out.
No performance is not a worry.
It's easier to scale stuff down than to scale it up.
So If ed notices a performance problem they tweak it a bit.
I'm rather sure that they know more about what they are doing than we think we know what we are talking about.
I see nothing wrong with high quality ground units.
Let them look as good as possible and if you think it is unnecessary set the quality lower.
I am looking forward to use combined arms with ww2 units. In fact I probably will use it a lot more than I currently do.

As most player don't want to play the mig vs saber mission the server only runs the tigers vs fishbeg mission.
I going to add the saber and mig15 to the mission later this week.
I was hoping more on info, about if it will be a AI unit of the game that we can use for early warning radar systems, especially combined with the Fug25 which is present in both German aircraft.
"I was"
It's past. So he is not waiting any more.
Anyway: Currently the mg 131 seems to deal more damage in this sim.
Could have to do something with their positioning.
I wasn't speaking about reality.
The game seems to favour splash damage over punctual penetration.
A lot of the Pilot kills i did with the Dora where with Mg131 He shells from behind.
This is however just my personal impression of the current DM.
I tested it myself and i can get the engine to overheat pretty quick.
I did this in the free flight quick start. First one is me overheating the engine by prop hanging and the second is me flying with full flaps down below 200 kph IAS.

The Dora has a modelled switch for spaying fuel on the wind shield.
They did this to get rid of spilled oil, from damaged enemy aircraft or the own engine on the wind shield. Would be a nice detail to add this as well :)
