  1. The Server now has Simple Radio communication installed!!!
  2. I don't have tacview installed. :/ edit: nevermind fixed that. Can i use un server exe for multiple servers? I got one WW2 and one Cold war server on the same Machine and would like to have this working with both instances.
  3. I'Ve set it up for one instance. I can connect to the Server with my SR client, but the overlay tells me "no Radio". According to server and client i am connected. Did i may miss something?
  4. Hi i want to use this on multiple server on one machine. Is this somehow possible? (route it trough more ports etc....)
  5. No mods are included on the Server. I moved the Korea fighters to other airfields where they can engage each other without having to face 3rd gen planes.
  6. Ah okay, same thing in the Dora then. If you fire your guns during blacking out it gets stuck as well. Not sure if it's the same deal for trim, etc.
  7. The ability to operate an aircraft during a blackout should be allowed for all or none. I tend to none. :music_whistling:

  9. My idea to use this in missions on mp servers is that we have a view on the map similar to this : http://aircombatgroup.co.uk/radar/radar.php and that the correct use of the Fug25 has a impact on this view.
  10. Tons of Manuals and Technical -Data about german Radar / Funk-mess devices including the Freya and Würzburg Stations. Very interesting read. http://www.cdvandt.org/manuals.htm Is there any info about WW2 radar stations for the Normandy map? The Dora and Kurfürst are having Fug25 IFF devices, like every Luftwaffe aircraft since 41, and they need a Funk-mess to to operate.
  11. Rule number one would be to never get slow. Even when ground pounding. Make wide manoeuvres and try to kept your speed up. As for role rate: Try out barrel roles and scissors and use your aileron more than your elevator. Do this in relation to your foe on your six, meaning try to always go into another direction than him. If he moves to the right role around and move to the left. Remember: This is no magical winning tactic. If you got somebody on your six and he knows what he is doing, you're lost pretty much anyway. So again, never get slow. The Dora lives and dies with it.
  12. Sorry for that. The ME overwrites the file settings with the one of the client every time i edit the mission. I forgot to correct it before uploading the new file.
  13. Changed the default channel to the awacs. I can't change the other 18 channels. Has anybody the MHz for the mig15 to the RWR? I could not set a higher MHz than 100.
  14. I will edit the missions today. Sorry for the wait.
  15. Hopefully this gets better after the 2.5 merge. When it starts to lag all the immersion is sadly gone.
  16. I've set the ping limit to 350 again.
  17. Spitfire is added to the server!
  18. You can take off in these just as smooth as in this video. If you use full throttle, on the Spit torque is probably just as bad as on the 109.
  19. And the chaos of gauges in the 109 or American designs "are super great" ? :music_whistling: Apply Fitts's law combined with how important each gauge is (likeness of having to look at it) and you will even have scientific evidence that the 190 cockpit design was the most ergonomic of that time.
  20. No mention of some non combat factors that made the 190 better suited than the 109 in different scenarios: wider undercarriage that led to significantly less losses by crash landings than the 109 and makes it suited better for use on harsh airfield conditions. The 190 also also far easier to maintain on the field. Almost everything could be reached by opening an single side-gate and fixing electrical compartments take significantly less time that a hydraulic or mechanical system. And then comes the vast flexibility of the aircraft: Night-fighter, Heavy fighter and it even replaced the Stuka. Counting up these things makes one almost think this is a modern day multi-purpose aircraft and not a WW2 fighter :D
  21. I don't remember reading about a plane that went into production to specifically counter a 109. Yet both, the British with the mk9 and the russian with the La5 only talk about countering the 190 in regards to these planes. The British called this beast the butcher bird for a reason and considering that all following interceptor designs (Bearcat, Tempest/SeaFury) are somewhat based upon the 190 just provs the significances of Kurt Tanks design. Galland himself said about the in regards to the 190 and 109: "... that only Focke Wulf Fw-190 fighter production should continue in conventional aircraft, to discontinue the Me-109, which was outdated ..."
  22. Most people fly the 190 wrong and they overall are seeking dogfights in sims, while in reality most air to air kills where done by high speed surprise attacks, in which the 190 shines. The impression of some pilots that the 190 could out turn a 109 could be because she turned better at high speed. If you fly a 190 how she is supposed to be used, meaning stay fast, she will always bring you home. The 109 is extremely stiff in a high speed dives, what makes it very difficult to use in proper BnZ attacks.
