I bought Combined Arms Module at steam and anow want to activate it at DCS e-shop. But i got no key from steam. Even if i click on DCS at steam, it is not showing any key. I only see Combined Arms at my Steam library. How to activate now? EDIT: got it. Please close the topic

Ich würde gerne die Flugmanöver der Jägerpiloten erlernen. Kennt jemand eine Webseite welche diese alle behandelt und auch zeigt wie sie genau einzuleiten und zu fliegen sind? Schön wäre auch wenn ich es ingame von jemanden gelernt bekommen würde. Gibt es hier im deutschen DCS bereitwillige ww2 Fluglehrer?

I need help learning aerobatics and fighter tactics which were performed in ww2 by German und Allied fighter pilots. Is there a website with an overview and tutorials to learn and perform them correctly in flight sims? Perhaps it will be possible somehow to set ai pilots in ME to perform aerobatics in order to learn and clone them. But i think it will not be possible.

Thanks for your reply, but that is not my problem. I know how to use radio in planes. Let me explain more detailed. I set in ME a FW190 plane as player, starting from parking position at Sommervieu at Normany map. Sommervieu got Tower Frequency 39.150 MHz. I set this 39.150 as channel 1 with my FW190 plane in ME and start the mission. Within the mission I switch FZG16 channel selector to "I" as i set in ME. Set radio mode "FT" and press "Push to talk" > Comm menu "Request taxi to runway" ... i got no answer now. So, where is my fault? I cannot get any answer when using FW190 at normandy map. Hope you can tell me what i forgot to set or to do. Thanks for your help!

Can anybody please explain how the radio in german ww2 planes works with the Normand map? Which frequencies to i have to set in ME? The 2 digits or 3 digits showing at airfield in ME? When i set the "COMM" and frequency in ME, i thought me wingmen within my group will talk to me, but i get no answer. Radio targets (text) in menu is always shown black. Where is my fault? Would be very helpfull to have a tutorial on that, or is it still work in progress?

I need your help. In order to use Deferred Shading to need to lower my gfx settings. So i tried to disable MSAA and Anisotrope Filterung ingame and set it through the Nvidia driver panel. I can set Anisotrope Filterung but i got no MSAA option. I tried to set Antialiasing in panel, but it is greyed out. How to set MSAA? BTW, there is MFAA in nvidia panel - should i set this option? I did not see any Antialiasing effect in cockpit when it is enabled. TIA

;-) .. ich meinte die DCS.exe natürlich. Was sind denn eigentlich die empfohlenen Einstellungen im Nvidia Treiber "3D-Einstellungen verwalten"? Was habt ihr eingestellt. Wäre super wenn ihr kurz schreibt.

Offiziell heisst es ja so: "6. If using Deferred Shading, you may wish to set your MSAA and Anisotropic values to zero, and instead enable these only through your graphics cards settings manager." Ich habe das eben mal versucht, MSAA im Spiel auf off und im Nvidia Treiber die dcs_updater.exe als neues Spiel unter den 3d einstellungen hinzugefügt und AA über das Profil dort dann gesetzt. Leider hatte ich danach im DCS kein AA. Was mache ich da falsch?

Sorry for that stupid question, but how to switch to normandy map in game? I installed map and asstes, but how to access the new content? In mission editor it loads nevada map for me. Are there any missions or training missions coming with normany map for ww2 planes?

Today it is my first time dealing with KneeBoardBuilder. Looks good and helps a lot. But how to set up size and position of the kneeboard. Option "Kneeboard Settings" is greyed out for me. I am using the DCS World 2 OpenAlpha. What do i have to do in order to get it working? My plan was to use Chuck´s guides, but they are made in horizontal format.

I got problems with the trainings mission and do not know why it aborts when starting rolling. Where is my fault? Everytime i try start rolling, giving left rudder and use the wheelbrake, the mission aborts. Can you please explain what i am doing wrong?

First i thought it is G-Sync or V-Sync problem. But now i set the slow views in settings (up, down, left, right) to my joysticks coolie hat in order to compare with trackir. When using the coolie hat to look around, it is smooth like butter. But when using the trackir5 it is like stutter or tearing effect when looking around. What can i do? i looked at trackir5 software and played with camera settings (light filter threshold). no luck! Anyone can help? Is it possible to bring trackir sensor to higher resolution or something? I found out, the only way to get it smooth is to set the Windows from 100hz down to 60hz and use V-Sync. This one is fine, but everytime i play DCS, i have to change my Windows from 100hz to 60hz. I testet with graphics.lua and frame limiter there - did not help.

I don´t know what this should be. Is it easy to open the Oculus and look for? Can anybody help? No reply from Oculus.. 6 days past by..

Now i got my Oculus, but it has a big problem out of the box. There is a magenta colored vertical line shown in left display. Perhaps the left display is damaged. I already contacted Oculus, but only got a mail that i have to wait. Now 5 days passed by with no reply. I hope i will get a new Oculus or a reply soon. BTW, i can test with this error. In the meantime i got a new CPU i4790 and a GTX1070 gfx-card. I hope i can deal with higher quality settings now. I opened the oculus debug tool and set density 1.5, pressed enter and leave the app open, started DCS 1.5 (no DCS 2.0 cause i did not own the Nevada map). In DCS options i set density 1.5 too. I hope this is the correct way to do. As Gman109 said, the labels get smaller, but i did not recognize a better grafics or sharper display with higher density. Where is my fault? For the better hardware i got, which gfx options to deal with? Texture quality, AA? I am a DCS and a Oculus noob, sorry for such a lot questions here. @Gman109 Many thanks for your great reply ;-) I will attach an image which i took with iphone through left lens of the oculus. I have a problem with my left display on the Oculus out of the box. I contacted them and now i am waiting since 5 days. Same thing like "dissignator".. I am very angry cause there is no reaction from Oculus. @Dissignator Du bist doch auch Deutsch ;-) Melde dich doch bitte mal was jetzt bei dir ist und was ich machen soll.

Ok, i got an i7 i3820 installed. Should work!? What do you think cause the software/drivers/tools cause Vive is supported through Steam and Steam is almost there in every game. So, hope the Oculus will not die in future and no new games will support it. I will now try to find a Oculus or Vive. For now, i am thinking more about to buy the Oculus. BTW, is there a guide for VR and DCS, which settings to use best at DCS? Perhaps more people could reply, so i got more thoughts about the two VR devices. TIA

Hi, i want to buy a VR hardware next days and i even want to use it with DCS. I only play sim games like DCS or racing sims, so i do not need to move and walk around within my room. But, what should i buy, what looks better and works better with DCS? There is a GTX980 mounted at my pc (not the 980ti-model). Will this be enough for having a lot of fun with DCS? Please help me with that. Thanks!
