And if they don't get their hands on any "technical data", there won't be a simulator. And after they have in their hands a military contract they need approx. "9-10" months to produce the simulator plus the amount of time to produce the Military Contract simulator. I assume ED is understaffed but they do have a lot of partners.

My PC upgrade since DCS:BS came out is quite good and hopefully will last more years than I hope it will.. but an upgrade I would like to make its an SSD HD (Corsair or WD) of up to 250Gb and install Win7 on it... oh and a better CPU cooler... That Intel stock cooler is a bad idea, so for those of you who buy a new i7 take my advice, don't make the same mistake I did and buy for a good CPU cooler.

yeah those were the days... very nostalgic:cry:. Digital Integration's F-16 Fighting Falcon (+the Afghanistan campaign), AH-64D Apache and the Mi-24 HIND. I really missed them, the HIND had some pretty cool missions and campaigns. P.S. Sorry for hijacking the thread:P

Ground radars are the best!! They never talk and they give you all the information you need + they are protected by powerful SAM and AAA batteries:lol: I wish in FC2.0 USA side can have one just the same as Russia.:P Getting back to topic... yeah, AWACS should get a facelift, they play a massive supportive role in airborne operations, although in RL AWACS provide tactical information for ground forces too if I'm not mistaken. Somebody correct me on this please.

I'm guessing if not this month then early next month FC2.0 will be released for sure. The sim looks great. Its a great improvement from 1.12. Nice job ED team. Keep up the good work:thumbup: :punk:

haven't seen this video for a long long time. Last time I saw it I had Win95 and played with the "Su-27 Flanker" back in 97 on 256 colors :P There are also another 3 videos on that cd if I remember correctly.

I have this sim for a year and I found out about the "R" key LAST NIGHT!!! I watched that producers note "navigation" over and over and over and couldn't figure out how M.Wagner enabled the auto route. Last night I thought I should watch over a stock track mission and pressed R-Ctrl + Enter to enable the cyclic-collective control view and saw an "A" symbol on the top right. I thought I must have missed something. I looked again over the controls menu and found it (note that you cannot find it under the autopilot list, its somewhere down below). This made my day and the flight more enjoyable.

Reinstall your GPU drivers. First clean all Nvidia drivers with DriverSweeper (can find that for free from Guru3d) and then make a clean install with the latest drivers. I didn't have this problem with DCS but had it sometimes with other games (Mirrors edge and crysis). I have a GTX295 and used the 182.50 drivers. Every time I installed a newest driver the system crashed. So I used this neat software from Guru3d to clean all nvidia and PhysX drivers. Now I use the latest drivers from nvidia and have no glitching problems at all.

I'm still with 182.50 and I'm very well satisfied with these drivers. If I upgrade I see many jaggies on many different games plus I get blue screens on most of the updates. I don't know why but I think its better to stay with 182.50 until I find something more secure.

Well.. I never said anything about releasing the source code. And I bet they are making a lot of money.

I'm very pleased now to see that ED is working on the current problems and trying to improve their products. But 1 thing I still didn't manage to comprehend - Why don't they hire more manpower so they can finish their projects a bit quicker??? There are thousands and thousands of talented and experienced 3D modelers, texture artists, software developers and so on. IMHO they look like they need some help to get things done faster. Their market is a very impatient market.

Exo to ego re Conno. I'll guide you through when I see you on msn. I have the same OS.. There is a minor problem with the unassigned driver of this software. Go a few pages back and you'll find a link to a nice software to get rid of that problem if you are unlucky.

That software seems to work.. thanks Hitman. But I'm getting black tiles. I need to solve this problem now. p.s. Got it work properly now. Some tweaking here and there does the job. That tile proxy guide from Ed Truthan is really helpfull.

I can't use it:cry: My Vista Ultimate 64bit won't let me use any unassigned drivers.:doh: I wish there was a way to support this project by some company cos by the looks of it this guy who made tileproxy has to spend a Sh***tload of cash to sign the drivers. btw if any Guru in here has an insight on how to enable installment of unassigned drivers on 64bit Vista let me know:) p.s - Sometimes it won't hurt going back a few pages and do some research lol. I found some software that might fix my problem. I'm using SP1 btw so I'll post feedback if it works

I'm running Vista Ultimate 64bit and I hear a loud engine sound especially when there is an aircraft close by. I tried reducing the engine volume from options but its the same. Same thing happens in multiplayer as well. My specs: Down in the signature I have no idea why? but I suspect that Vista 64bit is causing this.
