  1. Try these out: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=61822 I tested all of them and they are all working just fine (except from a few minor buggies). The ILS training mission is working just fine as well and it really helped me (I just have to watch it again... don't remember much... everything happened really fast at the end).
  2. Exactly! Walk first then run.... later fly
  3. You make it sound like a huge conspiracy project made by ED to attract new customers and expand the market :megalol:
  4. When you forget to pay the electric bill and the power goes off while you're in the final approach after a 3 hour mission

Didn't understood a word you said but it was a beautiful terrain. Keep up the good work man.
  6. Also considering that there isn't any 2 seat production model like the A-10. Because if there is, there's no need for the service to make a contract. They can have the 2 seat model acting as a trainer. And thats 1 reason why you won't get to see any 2 seat version from ED anytime soon. But you never know. The KA-50 had a very "different" contract because ED/TFC and Kamov had good relations or something similar.
  7. Alt + P for the low setting, Ctrl + P for high and Shift + P to turn them off. I don't have a TM Warthog so I can't tell how they react with the pinky switch.
  8. Definitely new GPU.
  9. I can make it submersible with my A-10C :D
  10. Went back to house when I had lunch break from work and started the download. Now I'm back to work and the download should finish when I finish work. Thanks nomdeplume  +1
  11. This is what happens when they release stuff unprepared!! Fix the frigging torrent first and then release the dang patch. Oh well, I'll start dling when things calm down.... next week
  12. hey, nobody is being negative around here, its just constructivist criticism. Nobody is forcing RICARDO to make those changes, its his mod, and as you said, he's releasing it for free.
  13. I wouldn't worry too much. Beta 3 is on its way soon. They remade the LOD modelling so the sim should be a lot more optimized.
  14. RICARDO, you are keeping the KA-50 community alive. Keep up the amazing work.
  15. Spare a thought for all those people in Helios flight too who died in their sleep. Lets hope something like that never happens again. As I said in my previous post, I knew a guy in that flight (only met a couple of times though) and a friend of a friend lost BOTH his parents in that flight at the age of 24. RIP... Anyway, for those who want to know the latest: The case is still in criminal-court with 7 new testimonies, 5 from Boeing and 2 from National Transportation Safety Board with the method of TV-video live link. The Criminal Court ruled that it has no power to order testimony by video-conferencing, noting that the matter should be brought before the Legislature. It is the first time in the history of Cyprus Justice submitted a request to take testimony via remote videoconferencing in criminal proceedings.
  16. Apache does make more sense than everything else. I saw some really early WIP pics somewhere a while back of the cockpit and some posts that apache would come after A-10C.... but I'm just speculating too. No matter what it is... I'm sure they won't disappoint us.. They are so eager to finish A-10C so they can start on the next one.. :smilewink:
  17. Are you a photographer of airliners.net? Those are amazing shots!!
  18. About that... Knew a guy in that flight. Its been 5 years and 3 months or so and the case is still in court (in fact the judge just denied witnesses from Boeing and some other European organization, don't know too much details on it). And thats how it somehow happened.... "The preliminary investigation reports state that the maintenance performed on the aircraft had left the pressurization control on a 'manual' setting, in which the aircraft would not pressurise automatically on ascending; the pre-takeoff check had not disclosed nor corrected this. As the aircraft passed 10,000 feet (3,000 m), the cabin altitude alert horn sounded. The horn also sounds if the aircraft is not properly set for take off, e.g. flaps not set, and thus it was assumed to be a false warning. The aircrew found a lack of a common language and inadequate English a hindrance in solving the problem. The aircrew called maintenance to ask how to disable the horn, and were told where to find the circuit-breaker. The pilot left his seat to see to the circuit breaker and both aircrew lost consciousness shortly afterwards." Poor people didn't know what hit them. :(
  19. Waiting too. Big money for small space... not worth it. At least when a terra arrives it will be worth it.
  20. Contact Mikoyan-and-Gurevich Design Bureau (now Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG, or RSK MiG) and ask for dimensions. Be sure to let them know you want to make a 3D model for a flight sim so they won't sent interpol or KGB to arrest you and interrogate you next to an Al-Qaeda member :P:lol:

Sometimes I wish there was some kind of Tileproxy software for TFCSE engine :P
  22. Thats good to know. I have the same card and had the same problem. Thanks
  23. The one with the seagull looks painful and somehow funny :D
  24. It looks real. It would look a lot more real if you shake the camera little bit on high AOA and make some filter effects. GA should know exactly. But other than that, for non-users of DCS:A-10C it looks absolutely real.
