Tropico Mig-29 low-vis I reworked the Mig-29 low-visibility skin pack, it is available in the user files section. DOWNLOAD IT HERE It now includes four variants, three for the Mig-29A and one for the Mig-29C: Mig-29A - early version with two color tones based on the original Cuban Mig-29A colour scheme - low visibility version of the early livery - a more modern low vis skin (with a Tropican "El Presidente" guard star) Mig-29C - modern low vis skin similar to the last one for the Mig-29A

This looks like a very nice improvement of Lilkiki's Mistral,and a great platform for Gazelle operations. Maybe you can get in touch with CrazyEddie, who took over the work and eventually share it privately or on a different place (it might not be allowed here on ED forums). In any case, good job!

They corrected the RoughMet with the latest update, now it looks much better and no more German 'shadows'.

Ho fatto qualche correzione, anche se ancora non ci siamo con la parte anteriore: il grigio scuro (non è nero) non arriva ancora al tettuccio.

Here is a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter in the livery of the Italian Air Force, depicting an F-104S ASA M from the 4o Stormo (4th Wing), based at Grosseto. The airplane skin is based on an improved F-104S ASA M operated by the Italian Air Force until 2004, and not the base F-104G in service with the German Air Force. Yet, the capabilities of the F-104G by VSN are more in line with an S/ASA rather than a "G", despite looking like a standard "G". Thank you m0j0NL for your skins. Really a beautiful work. As I am currently working on a classic camo Italian Air Force skin I can really understand the frustration one can experience while making such skins (way harder than the modern low-vis F-104S ASA-M). PS I would really appreciate if you can let me know whether you find a way to get rid of the original German roundel/numbers appearing under some lighting conditions.

Per essere pilotabile, è pilotabile se hai FC3. Però in pratica è un F-15 con il modello 3d di un F-104G. Magari hanno aggiustato un pochino il modello di volo con un SFM proprio ma non saprei dire di più, non volo con lo F-15 e in ogni caso non è molto credibile come F-104. Io personalmente lo utilizzerei soprattutto come aereo coreografico ed AI. Magari avessimo un F-104 (S) 'vero' per DCS... In ogni caso è abbastanza fruibile anche così, ci rimetterò le mani possibilmente nel prossimo fine settimana. Ciao a tutti, sto preparando una skin abbastanza semplice per la mod VSN F-104G che rappresenti un F-104S ASA del 4o Stormo in livrea a bassa visibilità (scelta per la semplicità). Al momento è ancora WIP ma potrebbe andare bene per dei modelli AI. Dovrebbe essere disponibile a breve nella sezione user files. Sono ben accetti suggerimenti, soprattutto su quali font utilizzare per inserire le marche ed il numero del velivolo (non mi pare abbiano implementato bort number dinamici).

I don't know if this is the proper section,or if the answer has been already provided elsewhere, but I wanted to ask what are the proper channels to suggest/propose some integrations to the country database and that has been already tackled by the community. More specifically I have a few countries that have either logbooks or inventories updated/added or that are in the final stages of completion. - - - work in progress by myself - - - Cuba (2000-) // logbook with ranks and squadrons but no medals yet Hungary (1990-) // complete logbook with squadrons, ranks and medals (based on old Lock On mod) + and updated units list DDR - German Democratic Republic (1976-1990) // logbook and units list SFR Yugoslavia (1982-1991) // logbook only, no medals yet USSR (1981-1988 ) // logbook ranks only Furthermore, there are a few additions already done by other talented users (i.e. Venezuela, Syria). Indeed, modifications to db_countries.lua (i.e. logbooks, units) are overwritten by each update, and do not pass integrity checks (correct me if i'm wrong). Given that most of the work would have been done by users from the community (including myself) it should be a fairly quick thing to implement by ED. Now that Cuba has been implemented in game with no specific liveries for its units, we might also have a better chance to have the database updated even without including liveries (which in most cases can be freely found as mods).

Ciao a tutti, sto preparando una skin molto di base per la mod VSN Eurofighter che rappresenti un Eurofighter del 4o Stormo. Ripeto, è un repaint molto semplice in attesa che venga rilasciato un painkit vero e proprio (in particolare le ali mi paiono troppo lucide rispetto al resto), ma magari può interessare a qualcuno, anche solo come modello AI. Dovrebbe essere disponibile a breve nella sezione user files. Visto che comunque le mie capacità di repainter sono abbastanza limitate, magari in seguito qualcuno più esperto e talentuoso potrebbe cimentarsi con qualche altra livrea AMI :) PS Non so se sia il caso di aggiungere numero identificativo e matricola oppure lasciarla così generica (ma magari risulta un po' troppo spoglia); più in generale ogni suggerimento è ben accetto.

The mod used to work fine, but after a long time i tried it in 2.5.4 and seems to be broken, only a skeleton of the interior appears ingame.

the first screens look like Hmeimm airbase. Mg Russian is very limited, but Apparently Incirlik seems confirmed,Beirut too. Still no explicit mention of Israeli air bases.

Here is the current status of the civilian liveries. DC3 and 727 liveries are very simple alteration of existing liveries, while for the 737 I tried something different, but I can't make it completely right still. A link for the DC3 will follow soon
