  1. Not twr that is wrong, but close :). Acceleration matches the real jet (pure TWR) Turn rates at low speeds are wrong, reason: the drag modeling below a certain speed is off in the release version, both with and without flaps Turn rates at medium speeds match the real jet very well. (within 5%) Turn rates at high speeds are inferior to the real jet because of the SFM heritage (G/AoA limiter) The problem (in red) is being adressed. .
  2. It is 20 pages, but mostly just pictures, maybe 5-7 pages text
  3. Oh Sorry! I misunderstood you before. I thought you meant some manuals from russian AC :). Yes leavu docs translation would be very helpful, as soon as I release them, if you want to, you can make a russian variant, it would be very helpful! We need to make some "credits" button for leavu hehe.
  4. access times. Though I agree, in an ideal world these things should be loaded on mission startup :)
  5. 2.1 will have instructions and be a lot easier
  6. I mean the leavu documentation. I'm sorry but I'm not permitted to say more at this moment.
  7. Leavu will have IFF where the game does. If this changes in the game, it will change in Leavu, all will be clear when the documentation is released. I really hope it will be soon :)
  8. You have probably mapped it under "axis commands" to some axis. Check all controllers in the game.
  9. I believe this is actually a limit for how much the missile can pull, not how much the target can pull before the missile loses it. If you make some defensive tests you will see that both R-27 and 120 are basically equivalent in terms of how much they can maneuver with the current simplified missile flight model. The aim-120 has a better proximity fuse however, which will cause it to be deadlier against purely maneuvering targets if both missiles are flying at high speeds (not considering other seeker issues here).
  10. Neg, not possible for security reasons. Someone could write "file.read..." or "write.." in it.
  11. Questions will be answered soon when I put up links to the download and documentation. All your questions so far are answered in there.
  12. Here is a little sample on how the Preset files will look like. You can write/edit them yourself manually, or just let Leavu generate them for you completely automatically. [LEAVU2] Volume = "100" no_focus = "true" sim_host = "localhost" sim_port = "8079" sim_password = "" sim_autoconnect = "true" dl_host = "localhost" dl_port = "11009" dl_ID = "Yoda" dl_password = "" dl_autoconnect = "true" autoclose_presets_window = "true" minimize_leavu = "true" [MFD] frame = "false" posX = "1916" posY = "-4" sizeX = "1688" sizeY = "1058" keyBinds = "keyBindings/MFD1Keys_yoda" This particular file sets up my own leavu and creates a full screen MFD on my second monitor. It launches automatically when I start Leavu with the command line switch "-preset Second Monitor"
  13. Yes if I could do this I would, but I am just a tester, so I don't have source code access. This means leavu will need to stay a separate software. I recommend you check v 2.1 once it is released, it should be quite soon :)
  14. Ok release delayed a little, I want to implement one more thing: Saved presets :)
  15. 1st Aspect? Are the targets beaming, head on or running? The following are the detection ranges I've found in Fc2, F-15 vs Mig-29: Head-on look-up (11.000 m vs 12.000 m) HI: 63 nm detection / 54 nm STT LV: 47 nm detection / 40 nm STT MED: 32 nm detection / 27 nm STT Head-on look-down (11.000 m vs 2.000 m) HI: 50 nm detection / 43 nm STT LV: 38 nm detection / 32 nm STT MED: 24 nm detection / 22 nm STT Tail-on look-up HI: 11 nm detection / 9 nm STT LV: 16 nm detection / 13 nm STT MED: 22 nm detection / 18 nm STT Tail-on look-down HI: 9 nm detection / 7 nm STT LV: 13 nm detection / 11 nm STT MED: 18 nm detection / 14 nm STT 2nd Where are you manually setting your radar to scan? The default direction is the _red_. In bvr mode, the radar adjusts to the horizon by default. 3 Because of the picture above...What most don't realize is that if you see the target, the angular LOS differences from the horizon are likely very large, and you have a minimal chance of finding him in BVR mode on your radar. If you see him visually: Radar isnt going to pick him up in bvr mode, funny eh :). If you don't see him visually: Good chance of bvr mode seeing him .
  16. . Release of Leavu and ERI v 2.1. This thread contains information about the coming release of Leavu and ERI v 2.1. The two mods are now bundled together. What is ERI and Leavu? Refer to the preliminary documentation found here: http://yoda.reservoirselite.com/Leavu2/Leavu%20Eri%202.1%20documentation.pdf It also contains changelog information about what has changed in 2.1 from 2.0. Documentation in Russian now available! Big thanks to Wed who translated the documentation to Russian! http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=39065&d=1273877959 Download links http://yoda.reservoirselite.com/Leavu2/LeavuEri_2.1.zip To update from Leavu/Eri 2.0 - Follow the standard installation steps in the 2.1 documentation, however skip the part with the dll files. (So only replace the client and the export scripts) If you get an error of MSVRT100.dll missing http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=38853&d=1273324589 (Thanks to 159th Viper) Video demonstration of the Leavu mod: Video made by Schizwiz, thank you! The video was recorded using Leavu v 2.0 (not 2.1) .
  17. Very good video!
  18. If you find some program capable, a somtimes more informative measure instead of FPS is MTBF, no not mean time between failures, but: Mean-Time-Between-Frames or Maximum-Time-Between-Frames. This is a pure fps loss/stutter test, I used this in lrm development.
  19. Try flying straight through that umbrella, and do it a few times. Then come back later and tell how many times you got hit. After you get hit ask yourself if you still think FLAK is completely useless :). It it quite intimidating once you have been hit by it a few times, even if you do come out alive more often than not - the goal is always to always survive.
  20. Just download the export scripts zip and overwrite your current ones. (Check export.lua if you want to keep the current ones)
  21. Try installing Visual C++ Redist 2008 sp1 and MS .net 3 and 2
  22. Can you please tell me what the "╧Ёшыюцхэшх эх с√ыю чряє∙хэю, яюёъюы№ъє юэю эхъюЁЁхъЄэ ю эрёЄЁюхэю. ╧ютЄюЁэр* єёЄрэютър яЁшыюцхэш* ьюцхЄ Ёх°шЄ№ фрээє■ яЁюсыхьє" means in english?
  23. Hmm, I play both AF and Fc2 for different reasons. Below is just my personal preference: Fc2 for force on force Falcon for coop/single player (I play an AF version I edited a bit myself to make the missiles behave what I believe is more realistic)
  24. Sorry my mistake, I must have misunderstood you before. Thank you Crunch for clearing it up.
  25. I'll try to bring some more attention to this. I reported it already in early betas.
