What enbseries.ini settings can I alter to make light sources brighter at night?

To add to that question: is there a way to make fires from burning vehicles and buildings last longer?

Guess I need to find a dive shop.

I've switched over to a Forcefeedback 2 / X-45 throttle combo, so I'm still truckin, I just miss having an extra hat switch and 2 more buttons. But ideally, I would like to get my X-45 as smooth as it was when it was new. Btw, I did expect to attract a certain type of humor with that title ;-)

The action on my Saitek X-45 has been getting really creaky rough lately. Wax used to help but not so much any more. So I got a tube of non-conductive plastic lube from Radio Shack and applied it to the shaft and the the bottom of the "cone." I succeded in making the action 10x as sticky. Any advice? Other than X-52? Unless you know where I can get one at a large discount...

So then leave Roll as the default non-linear curve? I tried setting both pitch and roll to linear response curves and found the 25T to be almost uncontrollable with both my X-45 and MS Force Feedback2 sticks.

My framerate has nasty mood swings from 60 to about 20. Its still playable at 20, but I know from other applications that if I could cap it at a little over 20, it would feel much smoother. Is there a way to do that?

Brief summary of Cosmonaut's link for people searching the board: Useful tips for force feedback joysticks in 1.12. In our config folder: 1. Set force feedback to on or of by editing producer.cfg and setting ForceFeedbackEnabled to 'true' or 'false' 2. If force feedback works but moves the wrong axis, i.e. trim does wierd things... edit contractor. config and set SwapForceAxes = 1.

Thanks, I reinstalled from scratch using EECHAllmods and it looks fantastic. Plus, I have a ton more campaigns and skins. I've always had trouble trying to get the old updater tool to work right.

Where did that terrain come from. I'm running 1.9 but it doesn't look anything like that. Am I missing something important?

If you pause the video and look at the tail rotor you will notice no blur there either. I think it was shot with a high speed camera and "sped up" using only the frames with the main rotor in that position. Have a look at the rotors in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRScct00Z-c&NR=1 the rotors are nicely blurred when you pause it, except in the slow mo shots. Hence my agreement with the theory that some creative jackhole sat and pieced that together frame by frame from slow motion video.

Am I a sick person for wanting little infantry men that scream like the ones in Vietnam Medevac? My wife used to laugh her butt off when I was trying, and pretty much failing, to land on a ship and the little guys in my downwash would scream hysterically at me. It amused her so much that she started emulating them at random times while I was driving. Good times...

I loaded up Lock On last night and couldn't get track ir to work. I deleted both track ir files and still got nothing. After 15 minutes of troubleshooting I figured out I wasn't wearing my damn hat.

If I activate a stt profile for my x45 and then try to launch and minimize my trackir 4 software, it locks my computer. I can use the x45 with trackir, but not with a profile active. Anyone else have a problem like this?

OOH, or my Logitech G15 display. It would be fantastic if I could display some LOMAC data on that.

I downloaded LO_1.1b from the US mirror twice and got a 233mb file that gave me "error #3" when I tried to install. I'm downloading from the Russian mirror as a search of this forum instruced me to do and hopefully I'll get all 274mb. According to the post I found, it'd been broken since last June. I wouldn't bother griping, but it's going to take over an hour to download from Russia vs 10 min.
