I can personally recommend the X-55. It dose have its qwerks the worst being the lousy soldering job on the wires inside and the hand rest being to low but I do not regret buying the X-55 as I can't afford the Thurstmaster HOTAS. They also released a new driver for Windows 10 compatibility. If your using it for A-10C I also recommend Sheins X-55 profile http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=120911

Sooo... After 3 days with the ASUS mother board it turns out my I-7 CPU was toast, had it tested on another board while waiting for my new parts. The MSI Z97 GAMING 5 and I-5 4690K arrived in the mail today and I put everything together without a hitch....mostly the EVO 212 CPU cooler stuck out the side of the case so I had to use the stock fan with the I-5. Windows 10 even fired up!!! I was told by micro$oft that it would not with the new hardware. Granted it is kinda unstable with the drivers outa whack so I will go ahead and reformat my hdd just so I can have a clean start, atleaste now I can deactivate my DCS moduals without using and activation and save the rest of my saved games. Thanks everyone for the ideas with the MOBO tho. I very happy with my new parts and the Audio on this MSI board is truly something else

Are u suggesting I uselatex gloves while building thepc? I don't normally I justwash my hands and make sure theresas little finger grease as possible but glovs might be sure really good idea especially when installing the cpu. I will also remember this time to check thesocket pins for bends before installing....had a bad cpu like that once

Btw I went ahead And order the i5 4690k and msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard.....after all this up grading with the gtx 970 and 16 gb ram I'd like to think I will soon own a solid gaming pc. Some forums said that the I 5 might not work without a bios update but all the msi Site say good to go and if need be can be upgraded later? Aslong as I can get to the bios this time I know ican update it......pray for me humble pc gamers :megalol: should be here Monday....If I miss the m2000 release I may :cry:

I'm now looking at the I5 4690k with msi gaming z97....500$ iv heard allot of good things about this cpu and it's a bit faster then my old one and I can over clock it can anyone forsee anyproblems with this cpu and mobo with great skill rip jaw 16g 1333mhz and my 550 watpower suply?

Omg so I got some new 16 gb get skill rip kaw ram 2x8gb 1333mhz and hocked them up and.....nothing pcwont even POST so I put back my old ram and same thing can't even get into thebios the fans all run and I get a green light on my board. I tried every combination ofram removed everything cleared the cmos switched psu removed gfx card nothing...I fear my c pu or mobo fried butim bothering beeps or anything it justfires up and stays on but the screen is blank. I've already started looking for new customers and mobo just in case and saw the AMD 8350 with the msi 970 mobo I'd pot a link but this stupid black berry....it's so hard to surf the Web and check compatibility on this thing

On the flip side if they say we are going to release it on December 20th say and there's a major bug and they miss the date.....grab your torches and pitch forks boys its a witch hunt. You can never please everybody. As a paying customer myself yes I do feel we are entitled to know whats going on with the return on our hard earned $ but for me a specific month is good enough as long as they keep us in the loop like RAZBAM seems to be doing....and teasing the hell out of us :thumbup:

Yay! I have been looking forward to the module since it was announced and pre purchased it. the M-2000 is a sleek looking aircraft and will have a happy home in DCS world givin the love RAZBAM has put into it. Going to be another great edition to an already fantastic sim.

I have been playing around in the mission editor and learned how to properly set up say an S-300 site, Command vehicle to big bird linked to tin can, linked to flap lid and finally the launchers themselves but I have also noticed EWR vehicles in the list and wonder how one would go about properly adding one of these to a mission, dose say the 55G6 EWR station need to be leader then SAM site as units under its control or can it be place by itself and send info automatically? also how dose the Ground control intercept radar work just place it and it will give BRA to allied flights?? I very well might be..the best range calculation on the F-35s clean weight range I could quickly dig up is on wiki and states: Range: 1,200 nmi (2,220 km) on internal fuel dose not mention weapon stores. And I am only assuming that this is for the F-35A

Hey sorry for late reply depends on the game and if im running full over clock. NTTR with everything maxed out gets a solid 60fps, over the Vegas strip 40-50. Over clocked....I get like 90-100fps in some situations on the ground but the card gets to 200 degrees
