  1. DCS: F-5E! I don't understand the negative comments either. It's a pre-purchase with a discount that should compensate the relatively long wait. I fully trust the quality of work Belsimtek and will pre-purchase today. However Sithspawn, there wasn't a concrete date given from Belsimtek but a very concrete month of early access which is this month.
  2. The statement is not clear on what to expect in July, the release or the early access.
  3. VIVE And whatever module you bought on steam will work on DCS, you don't need to pay again for the standalone version. Just that the opposite doesn't work.
  4. Yeah! Sure! On which server will you be ? I'll be waiting for you in my AA MIG :D
  5. In general pushing logic to the limit becomes illogical. Besides, I can push the limited of including manuals to the limit and would include nonsense things, for example 10 campaigns... The day people will not want campaigns anymore and it becomes it trends expect to see only DLCs. It's not the case today, but it could be the case for manuals. Devs out significant efforts in somethings that PROBABLY few read them. To me it wouldn't make any difference since I will always get the manual and will always love reading them
  6. The extra paying is what annoys you 100%? How about that, you want the manual you pay the normal price, those who dont want it get a discount. My friend, when you buy something nothing is for free inside it, not the manual of your TV, not the box, not the plastic bag insides it, its storage in a warehouse, transport... Your TV manufacturer makes you pay for a manual that you probably wont open, i didnt open the manual of mine, damn it, it's a TV. You probably feel privileged getting it for free but in fact they made you buy it. Now, I love to read DCS manuals, I would pay for them. The blocking point for me is that its impossible to prevent hacking it or distributing it illegally for free. Even encrypting it wont be secure enough, nothing can stop screenshots, or printing and rescanning... I suppose they wouldnt want to disable printing.
  7. In principle why not not be forced to pay for the manual if you don't want it, after all it was the same for paper copies. However, I don't see a way to prevent people from illegally downloading very easily copies of those manuals. It's technically not feasible.
  8. ED releases a new version every 2 weeks sometimes every week. That's not the problem. They only wait to finish the manual because of some people here always complained about the quality of the english manual... sadly... now we have to wait.
  9. wrong feeling. They said it is pretty much ready and they are translating the manual. That's all.
  10. I own all the modules except hawk and c101. Tell me which cockpit looks more real than the 21?
  11. Great !
  12. I have a feeling that the 21 will look good before we get the F5. And that what matters.
  13. Any chances to see pics of the cockpit of the co-pilots now that the TV is gone
  14. MiG-21bis Radar Hotfix Binaries The MiG-21 now Just kidding. I'm looking forward to the fixes and future modules.
  15. Belsimtek guys are shy, that's all [emoji4] from what they said last time they F5 is ready (it was nearly ready a month ago) what's taking time is the manual translation from Russian to English because some of the community were weeping about the bad quality of the English manuals.
  16. It's probably not easy to replicate it. I will investigate it more next time it happens to me, if it ever happens again ...
  17. I wished I could have helped but I'm in a biz trip. How did the test go?
  18. I can hardly imagine that the technology of that time allowed such an advanced image processing needed to stabilized it. My guess is a combination of G meter + Doppler
  19. Isn't it limited to hundreds of kHz? As pointed out I don't think there is an equipment for it, unlike mi8...
  20. In my case it wasn't a cover issue. When I pushed the lasing button it show a value. But this value is constant independently from where I look. As if there was an invisible wall in front of me.
  21. Well I believe you Dimitriov :) However, I don't think it's only indicative, it does prevent launch permission if the calculated range is too big.
  22. Yeah but not in the campaign :/ London FARP doesn't have one. Paris is close to an Airbase so it's covered but still not that close.
  23. Like some mentionned here. That's not needed. Unused waypoints are programmed with the homebase coordinates. Waypoint 9 will have already the coordinates you wanted to copy.
