They are releasing an actual Bug now? I would love to ride high in the Sky on the back of a Bug. My all time favorite Bug would be a a GrassHopper. Imagine the Geforce on the back of that Bug.

Can this Sleeping Beauty have more sleeps? Then have a princess (I'm a man) wake me up when 1.5 is released?

I assumed things were working well when I put all the information together. Listening to wags videos in August about it still be on schedule ect. There's no need to try to be funny here. I'm just saying ED haven't announced anything.

The thing that I don't get is that everyone's acting like it has already been delayed. Does someone know something I don't? I haven't seen ED announce that it is going to be delayed and I still see the L-9 available in September.

I don't think anyone is under the illusion that they are going to get a trouble free game in 1.5. I think everyone excepts they are going to get crashes in a beta at some point. Yes this was in the L-39, but I've watched Matts streams and he's using other modules without crashing. I guess it's upto ED what they do though and in what state they want to release this. I do worry if there are still so many bugs creating crashes though and that they won't release this in this state. That could mean waiting a long time until they are all fixed.

I don't see it been so broken during gameplay that it renders it unplayable. I say this because out of all the video streams I've seen so far, I am yet to see anyone crash to desktop. I watched a Russian stream the other day and this was a very long video that has DCS 1.5 running. I never once saw them crash during gameplay, so I'm just saying it can't be that bad,

I think this still looks good for a September release. I think ED would have changed this information in the product page by now, if they knew the L-39 would not be be released in September. Hold onto you controllers were going to be in for a fun weekend I'm sure.

I would say if this is some "vauge due date" then it should reflect this in the product page. Why is it stating that it will be released in September if nobody is confident it will be?

Well it was going to be released last December if I remember correctly, so it's already been four times as long :D

I'm looking forward to the 30th Sept or before and placing the Oculus Rift on my head to play DCS 1.5.

I can't understand why this hasn't been answered when I've seen so many people asking about it. I see it asked in the Q&A for the streams a lot, but without knowing the answer it just leaves people stuck not knowing if to update their Oculus Rift or not. Oculus currently has a 0.7 patch out, so it would be nice to know what version DCS 1.5 is going to use.

Well that's a relief, it was looking like what DCS plays like right now. Thanks for explaining this, it had me worried for a sec thinking I'd need a mega computer to play DCS 1.5.

I think my addiction will be lite once more when 1.5 & 2.0 hits. As is is I haven't started DCS in 7 weeks. I've been watching all the nice videos though of what's to come, but it's put me off playing the old version having seen them :(

Was this video shot using 1.5? Not sure what rig those Russians have got but I did notice micro stuttering in their video. Matt's videos seem to appear very smooth though and I haven't seen him crashing to desktop either. Maybe it's instability in the menus or something, but who cares about that when it's a beta.

I know, it must be a lot of pressure to get this out. I'm not someone who minds waiting though. I think they might of been better just announcing it when it was ready for release though. Still might be ready fingers crossed!

I think people might be a bit disappointed if DCS isn't released this month because they've had estimates before and have waited many months after that. Normally estimates are pretty close and I think this is why people get disappointed.

They are only estimated release dates but I did think they had stopped giving these out to save any disappointment.

I wouldn't say for sure when you don't know. You make it sound like it's written in stone for October and that might not be the case.

Wrong - it suggest several big bugs and mentions stability problems. They said they hoped to have it out by the end of Sept still, but I think they sounded more confident in the August video then they did in this one. I hope it won't be delayed this time around. There seems to have been a few delays in the past and then months of waiting after.
