  1. I am, yes. I can install USBDeview, but when I try to disconnect the controllers the lights just remain on. My ThrustMaster MFCDs lights and ThrustMatser Warthog Hotas lights remain on, so it doesn't disconnect them. What would happen if I just pulled out the USB on the powered Hub while the computer is on and just plugged it back in before shutting down the Pc? Would I lose all my DCS settings doing it that way? I really need help with this because I can't play my other games, I would have to decide if it's DCS that has to go or my other games and I don't want to do that.
  2. How can I disconnect my controllers without losing settings for DCS? I have just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and the program USB Deview doesn't work for my Windows 10. That was the program I used to use to disable my controllers, but I can'y get it working with this version of Windows I have a powered USB Hub that I connect all my DCS controllers to, but I fear if I just unplug this hub, I will loss all my DCS module settings. I want to be able to play my other games with my my other controllers though, but I somehow have to disable the DCS controllers to play games like Fifa ect. How can I do this without losing my DCS settings? Thanks!
  3. When you say fresh install what do you mean by this? I don't have windows 10, I just have windows 7 and it's asked me to update. How do I do a fresh install? Thanks!
  4. Does anyone know if I have to deactivate the DCS modules if I am updating from windows 7 to windows 10?
  5. @Mortifa -Very good point, but are you saying the tanks will not be visible from an altitude of 7500 ft? I'm just trying to gauge what altitude they would be visible at in real life, so that I can test it in DCS and also get a better understanding of what it's like in real life. I also mentioned a column of tanks not just one. It interests me to know these facts and what they see in real life, but I can't find any pics that depict this.
  6. At what altitude can you spot a column of tanks in a real A10C? I've been practicing in the desert map with some tanks, but I'm sure I would be able to spot tanks higher up then I can in DCS. Does this sim accurately implement spotting tanks at the correct altitude or not? And at what altitude would you be able to spot such vehicles? Thanks!
  7. @AG-51 - Thanks for the reply, but this isn't a mission I am hosting or have created. I get this when I connect to an online server. The server in question is the Virtual Aerobatics server. So are you saying it's because they have it set to not use radios manually. I'm sure I can set them in another aircraft like A10C on the same server.
  8. Does anyone know why my radio dials won't work in Multiplayer, but will work in single player offline. They are stuck at something like 129 in Multiplayer and when I try to move the dials they just flick a little and stay the same number.
  9. Really sorry to hear this news. I didn't get chance to fly with the Guy, but the offer was always there. I just wanted to learn a bit more about the A10C before taken the offer up to fly with him. He helped me in the forums a number of times and will be sadly missed. R.I.P Friend.
  10. I also read it, but nose wheel steering seems to stay on for me. So is NWS supposed to disengage after 40Kts or not?
  11. Yeah, there might be crosswind in Multiplayer, I never thought about that to be honest. But if it is down to crosswind it's still virtually impossible to keep the Mirage straight or even on the runway at times. I have no problem in the A10C, it's only the Mirage2000. I checked my brakes and the toe brakes are not sticking. I just read a thread where someone mentioned using just one key for brakes, but that was last December. Does this still apply now though, is it better using one key for brakes instead of two toe brakes?
  12. Why does this aircraft not stay straight on the runway? When I tackoff I swerve to one side and it's very hard to correct this with Saitek Combat rudder pedals. The same goes for landing, as soon as the aircraft start slowing down it swerves to one side. When you try to correct this by pushing the rudder down in the opposite direction you end up snaking all over the runway. Has anyone got a good setup for the Saitek Combat rudder pedals they could give me because I'm hoping it's just that causing the problem. Seems even worse with the latest patch for DCS World. Edit: I just want to add that it seems to be a lot worse in Multiplayer for some strange reason.
  13. This is why I suggested that someone make a map for VR. I'd do it myself if I knew how to make maps because the potential for sales is huge. When CV1 is released can you imagine how a map designed for VR would sell? With the Edge engine someone would be more then capable of making a map for VR that runs at high FPS.
  14. That fixed it, I've been trying to figure this out for ages now. Thanks for the replies
  15. I have selected "M" on the radios dial. That is all it will allow me to set though because when I try to click the switch to "P" it just flicks back to "M"?
  16. Are the Radios not working in the Mirage 2000 yet? When I hover my mouse on the drums It won't let me adjust them in-order to get the correct ATC. I'm stuck on a 129 frequency and when I click to try and change it it just flick back to 129?
  17. I like the NTTR map but I think it benefits rotarheads more then it does flying jets. Yes, I can get down low in a jet, but it judders for me because of the speed I'm doing and I don't get a chance to see the fantastic sites. I'd really like to see a map similar to the old one to be honest, but without seeing things like buildings sunk into the ground and misplaced. My ideal map would have green fields, forests, cliffs, lakes and mountains all taken advantage of the Edge engine now, but is there anyone else making these maps? I dread to think I'm going to be waiting years to fly in something like the old map, but that is done twice as good with the new engine.
  18. Manual? Where abouts is that? Seems like I can't find that either LOL.
  19. Sorry, if this turns out to be a daft question, but does this jet have a compass? I mean, I can't tell if I'm flying North, East, South or West. I've looked all over in the cockpit and it's probably staring me in the face but I can't find it.
  20. Why can I use MK-82 and MK-82 SnakeEye at the same time then? Or are you saying you cant use Rockets with these two bombs? Thanks!
  21. I had all these three weapons setup on both sides of the wings one bomb type either side. I wanted to do a bit of target practice, but for some reason I don't see the MK-82 SnakeEye and I'm not able to select it. Does this Jet not allow this payload or something? I can have a payload of the MK-82 and the MK-82 SnakeEye together, but if I add Rockets I can't?
  22. Anyone know what I mean and if I can do this? I've edited the original post to make it a bit clearer what I want to do. Cheers!
  23. Basically, I set up the Mirage 2000 in Neveda and saved the settings as save as Mirage2000.lua file. I just want to know, to save me going through all the setup again, if I can load this saved Mirage2000.lua file into 1.5.2? Or will I have to setup the Mirage2000 again while I'm in DCS 1.5.2? Cheers!
  24. No matter found out why.
  25. Can someone tell me why the Hydraulic cross feed light would be on while doing a ramp start? I followed Charlie Owls tutorial on Mirage 2000 ramp start, but I have some lights on. One is the "Hydraulic cross feed" like mentioned and the other is the "wheel brakes are been applied" light? Can someone tell me why these would be on? Thanks!
