Where to begin...... How poor is DCS with VR having tried the rift-s (Thinking its a headset problem, To a motherboard CPU AND 2080TI just to run DCS in VR. So i brought the quest 2, My conclusion, The stutters are not as bad BUT are there and noticeable, Its enjoyable at first then the stutters make the whole experience absolute dog *****, I then turned down my settings to VR in game options un checked V-sync, To really no surprise barely some change, To make sure its not the headset, I tried various other games i had issues with the rift-s, The quest 2 to with link cable no such problems. So what gives to the poor performance of DCS in VR? Asus maximums formula motherboard I7-10700k @3.8 32GB ram EVGA 2080TI Quest 2 with link (The cable was not cheap making sure i got one that runs fast data bla bla bla) And dont want the well my VR runs just fine........ I want to know why DCS runs so poor to pointless trying.

Hopped on latency fell from 115 to 97 no idea if it helps.

I still see no bug report from EDots on ECM either, 120 didnt hit must be a bug please fix.

Its a bug thread not a debate the aim-7 is active and will be double checked also no way you can turn cold drop lock.

And by my understandifng ive been told HeatBlur are using there own aim-7s?

Missile is leading all the way to target thats not HOJ, It would be HOJ would be pure pursuit. So no its basically active.

Why are these things not picked up aim-7s go active lol love it OP nato missiles.

Thats just a mod actually, I believe they changed the bitmap from 16 to 32, And somewhere in changing it caused a bug thats still not picked up however Mustang found what was causing it ED have still failed to pick up on it. This is causing the stutters you are seeing.

I dont know how the files are done i just know the fix worked for me best ask ED.

Great event loved the fact that missiles had to be used wisely and just not load up buses, Red GCI and ATC was really good precise and comms were not cluttered, Random failures actually spiced things up alot was realism having to check the aircraft systems as per realism real life, Bullseye was not 500km away no stutters fps loss no warping that i personally saw of the mission idea on them convoys were cool too not to many moving units. Cant wait for the next one.

104th_Mustang fixed it for me with a file now its smooth as butter ED never picked it up in testing cheers all is fine thread closed.

@Yaga if its blueflag and your disconnecting, Your not the only one it happens alot, Not sure on other servers i have no issue, I ask because you fly in the buddyspike server most likely with 100 scripts running could be a plausable issue, I believe its in syria only, As for pagefile ive never bothered palying with it you should not have to, I contacted Xcom and he just said delete the usual folders etc.

Funny that is there not a chaff bug but its still used right? So this event no chaff to be used correct? And atleast thats a proper public bug report.

Did some reading now this is not fact or fiction, I dont know but i did find claims of spitfires gliding from 20,000ft for 75 miles? Nit sure how true it is. Now these BF-`109s are gliding from roughly 70000ft to 30ish miles at 100mph is it possible? However surely the B-17 would struggle doing the same thing also at that altitude?.
