WOW! I followed your directions here and it did magic for me. Thanks Wags :thumbup: I'm getting very smooth almost perfect performance..hovering around 55 - 65 and peaking at 90 fps! Airport startup taxi (with 4 wingman) was very smooth. I lost about 5-10 FPS with TGP on. Couple of times it went to 35. Settings - All high, AA 16x, cockpit res 1024. Test mission - Kashuri Gap stock mission. Now I'm off to :pilotfly: & :pilotfly: and blow some sh*t up.

I believe this mission had 8 x 4Gb fraps files. About 32GB. Recording resolution - I forget. I know I'm recording at 30fps though, would have to check later for the resolution. EDIT** - Fraps doesn't show the recording resolution. Just full size or half size.

Yeah the rendered file was 1.8Gb I believe...normally that would take me a couple days to upload..but I recently upgraded my internet connection so it's not that bad anymore.. And yes, that last arty pissed me off. Had to turn around 3 times to get the gun kill. haha

Does holding down the trim button disengage the AP channels? If it does, anytime I turn or make a maneuver, I'm flying with no AP ... I think.

Agreed. I'm not even close to being done with the KA-50. Feels like I've finally figured it out, then suddendly the A-10C shows up...:thumbup:

The Apaches are hard. I run away if I'm not 100% it's not targeting me. One thing I sometimes do is remember where friendly SAMS are and lure them into SAM range. But most of the time it's best to just turn around and wait another day...or die... heheh

Exactly! That upgrade will be huge. I'll start the GOW campaigns all over again....hehehe.

I see. I remember there are two Cobra's and two Blackhawks. I don't think there are apaches in this one. Although the Cobra's do get on your case if you don't take them out early.

Still one of my favorite missions. Everytime I play this mission something different happens. It's also a great mission to test your hardware. It's a quick and dirty mission :pilotfly:

First time I've EVER had hardware that could max out any sim, at the time. :-) I'm re-discovering DCS:BS with settings maxed it. It's still a beautiful looking sim, no doubt about that.

I have no idea what is causing that for you. It will occasionally stop for me, but that's just the video buffering I would assume.

Hey Mastiff, the version is the latest patch. There is an english speaking mod. I forgot who created it, it's been a while since I've messed around with the settings (except the graphic settings.)

I had this issue when rebuilding my i7-2600k after putting new CPU cooler in. I spent 5 hours trying to figure out what the issue was. Turned out that the RAM was not seated properly. That fixed it. I was not able to get into BIOS at all.
