I need to do a multiple install as well. Nate - Do I need to do anything with the registry? I've never touched the Win registry before. I have 1.1.0.9 installed right now. Do I just install .8 to another drive...create new shortcut and that's it? Thanks!!

Migo, I noticed this about the FLIR as well. It's a lot easier to spot targets now in both WHOT and BHOT. Although I only tried one mission. So to early to tell for certain.

Yes. The CBU's are much weaker now. Not sure if it's more realistic or not. I put down a CBU-97 right on top of two APC's in Khasuri Gap and only got one. I was thinking how on earth did that one survive. I guess sometimes those bomblets miss.

Haha. The clever Kamov pilot will exit the KA-50 on the ramp and wait for DCS to release a detailed, high quality Su-27 simulator to shoot down the hog. :-) Might take a few years but what the Hay. :-)

Is this what KA-50 pilots have to look forward to when the patch comes out combining it with the A-10C? I feel sorry for the human pilot that actually gets hit like that. Ewwww.

Might be easier to just hook the friendly aircraft on the TAD display. You get all that information and more from that method. Not sure about using TACAN for that. Probably is a way.

It does matter to me. It's personal preference. I like as real as it gets, and that includes the the missions and campaigns. I do get your point though. But, this is just a *personal* preference.

I also crash a lot at that airbase. Just last night, right after I touched down I crashed. Edit - In the Georgian Hammer Campaign...as well.

I think it has something to do with JTAC not seeing the targets. Might be outside the detection range or something like that.

I've just learned to live with it. I've had some success adjusting the gain levels...etc. I mostly use only BHOT, as I find that mode is easier to spot targets. Also find it much easier the closer you are to the target in WHOT or BHOT. My two cents :-)

hehehe yeah, of course we don't know yet. That's my way of saying I really want it. :-) My apologies if I confused anyone. Nevada is very cool map, but any campaigns or semi-realistic missions will be VERY fictional...except training missions of course, they would be perfect for Nevada..of course.

I have to admit, for other reasons, I would *LOVE* to have an Afghanistan theater. But of course, this has been said and requested probably a thousand times. Maybe, hopefully, luckily, with the release of DCS F/A-18 we'll see a brand new map, and it could be Afghanistan. Could be. We can hope.

Good evening, I put together a video today. Felt like taking a break from flying :-) It's an edited custom made mission w/ music. :pilotfly:

I got the cheapest SSD of all (Intel 40GB-V) and it work amazingly. Load times are only a few seconds...even with Rise of Flight new career mode - loads within 10 seconds or less. $120 is what I spent and it's sooo worth it. I could never go back to slow loading times. Since I only use the SSD for flight sims - it should last several years.

I'm pretty sure you can rearm anywhere on at the airbase. Like DCS Blackshark? It's more realistic to return to your starting position...true.

I'm always mad(man)...hehe No what happened was I came in to fast in one attempt and bumped the tanker a little to hard. A few times I got really upset and tried to use my gun to kill the tanker, but the mission I made there are have no weapons, not even gun on board. Oh well.
