  1. I'd like to see that as a permanent server :)
  2. I Think you mean the Super 530D which, to my limited knowledge, was the successor to the 530F
  3. Well, it very much depends on the situation. First up, the Mirage can carry up to 6 missiles, 4 Matra Super530D's and 2 Magic II's. The RDY radar is pretty decent allthings considered, having a range of 120 km (if the manufacturers advertisements are to be believed.) Now your Magic II is your pretty avarage close in IR missile, 15km max range, so pretty comperable to the US IR AIM missile, with the exception the French have a thing for Mach 5 missiles. Likewise the Matra Super 530D is a 40-50 km missile, with a top speed of, again Mach 5, but semi active. For Comparison, the US AIM missile tops out at Mach 4, and the R27 at Mach 4.5. overall, it isn't too bad, its pretty much in line with what the rest of the world used in the 80's. So overall i think, that it stands a pretty decent chance all things considered, especially since Jamming and a small radar cross section make detection harder, partly compensating for the slightly less then stellar missiles. @Dartuil Interesting you mention that. Hope that clears things up :)
  4. Ill still bet on a Japanese Modern Jet, Either the F4J Kai, or the F1, which seem to be the most logical.
  5. Aviodev has been posting pics of the F1, not hte Mirage III. Tbh, its the first time i heard somebody was making the III Mirage F1 (the one from Aviodev, currently discussing weather to make it a CE or EE.
  6. I thought the Mirage 2000C was in development, not the Mirage 3...
  7. Ohhh, looks very good, I take it its the IR only mode, and not the mode where its slaved to the radar?
  8. I'd Prefer the EE, Mostly because it has better A-G capabilities, then the CE (from what i understand after a brief search on the Internet), likewise hte upgraded avionics package means its better suited to the current Multiplayer Arena, just my 2 cents :)
  9. that Mirage F1 makes me Happy, never enough Mirages
  10. Well, realistically, i don't think ED, or any 3rd party would be able to get the data needed for hte most modern types. given that, i would like to see a MiG 31, Mig 25 or Su 22. even though the Mig 31 is unlikely
  11. Problem with this is that it doesn't account for the JASDF Flag... I doubt they would tease a Japanese flag with on their Facebook without showing anything for it, so, if we have the Tomcat, a Corsair and a Viggen the picture on Facebook is wrong. Likewise Given Rudels avatar, perhaps they are hinting at the "Supersonic Reisen"? Fits the criteria pretty well, it has Air to Ground radar, is modern, is out of service, meaning that its avionics prolly aren't classified, since they weren't top notch in the first place, was build by Mitsubishi,
  12. Well The Japanese flag isn't saying anything per se, since IIRC, that flag is still in use with the JSDF. However assuming that the pic they posted on facebook is the leading clue, along with the development of the A-G radar (even though it might be used in the loosest sense of the word), means it needs to be Japanese, and have A-G radar, which only leaves the Mitsubishi F-1 as a candidate. Another potential thing of interest is that Japan Retired the F-1 in 2006, meaning that there prolly isn't a whole lot of classified avionics that can't be modelled.
  13. I am looking forward to this module, it will be a day one purchase for me :)
