there is currently a bug which causes crashing when turning on radar and somebody is jamming. its Early Access, so i expected problems...

well, a few observations, ran a few tests against IL 78M's and for some dark reason, the RDI just drops the contact at random moments. secondly the RDI's ability to burn through jamming is nil, is this working as intended?

you might want to look for a Russian Factbook on the Mirage 2000, IIRC that one has performance charts in it, (which IIRC are estimations)

perhaps a way to secure funding for a Hog successor?

Mig 25 would be nice, although i'd like to see a fully modelled 2 crew Mig 31 as well.. other than that, Su 17/22 is something i'd like to see a lot.

is it just me, or has the Radar screen cursor gotten slower in the new patch?

if they are adding a F-16's it be pretty nice to add a mid 80's variant, one that fits nicely with the Mirage 2000 and the Mig 29A/G

also, I'd like to see an Su 17/22, its a nifty little attacker that saw quite a lot of combat with various countries

a modernized Su 15 wouldn't be bad tho, since it could fill in as a J-8 as well, which can be quite handy.

I think that adding the Russian R27 to the F-14 isn't a bad idea, especially in scenario's it would make for a nice touch

actually, everything with an 80's loadout is fair game. BVR is a bit hairy at times, but even flankers have serious issues against it in WVR, so it evens out nicely IMHO

Did some testing on the Radar this afternoon. Fairly simple set up, trying to figure out at what range the RDI burns through jamming targets. 25.000 feet, 130NM out, closing in head on. interestingly, the RDI cannot detect an F-15 that is jamming at all from the front. anybody else tested this, since chances are i goofed somewhere.

IMHO, A Mig 31 will be enough for the near future, in a Red vs Blue setting it would give Red the ability to do long range BVR, and guide flankers onto their target, which is enough IMHO

F-15 at 25.000ft co alt starts flinging missiles at you at 12NM. At which point, the Mirage does not pick up the F-15 if he has its jammers on. I know this because Me and 2 friends have been trying to devise tactics to successfully engage F-15's over open ground (rather then relying on the mountains to get close)

Mirage currently has no Campaign, however its being worked on
