  1. Raised a ticket, used live chat, only advice was do a repair and clean up, so reinstalling.
  2. Tried that, didn't work. Really getting annoyed with ED now, they said they would do more testing before releasing patches...
  3. Everything is gone apart from the F-14, and I can't DL them again, I've rolled back to the last version with no luck. Even the free map isn't there, the game says I have no terrains installed. If I go into the module manager nothing other than tac view is listed.

Ok, got it to do it again, where you see I'm in boresight mode, if you look at the elevation position on the radar screen, it is depressed, and the azimuth position is not searching left and right when this is happening. You should also see the elevation flicking between depressed and the correct position, this is when I am using my warthog and the workaround I found (holding TMS down) Using either my TM MFD button, or clicking the button in the virtual cockpit doesn't trigger this, only when using my Warthog, and the TMS buttons are not mapped via the TARGET GUI, they're just using the directX inputs in the game itself. I'm not sure what triggers it, I've just tried it twice, first time it did it after I'd moved the antenna elevation in a BVR mode then switched to ACM and then Boresight mode, and then it was like it for the rest of the flight, second time it didn't do it at all. If it happens again, I'll save the track and post it.
  6. More info: Just been playing about with it, and I've found that after entering Boresight mode by pressing the TMS up button on my warthog, if I then HOLD TMS down for about 1-2 seconds, it brings the radar back up to the centre.
  7. What it is doing is when I switch to boresight ACM mode, the radar is pointing down rather than straight ahead where the cross is on the HUD. Update: If I access boresight by pressing the MFD button, it looks straight ahead, but if I access it by Pressing TMS up on my warthog, it looks down by what looks like 10-15 degrees, it's 100% repeatable aswell. I can also get it to do this if I enter Boresight via the MFD, then press TMS up again, I can see it immediately turn the radar down.
  8. Since last patch I've not been able to hook up again. Bar is down, plane is perfectly aligned, and in the right spot, almost inch perfect, but it won't hook up when pressing "u".

You can sort of simulate ASW with fixed wing aircraft like the S-3 using the ground attack option, drop a bomb like a Mk-82 from the bomb bay as a stand in for a torpedo, use bomb in zone to set a flag, then set a trigger based off that flag using "time since flag" with say a 30 second delay, and then use explode unit to blow up a submerged submarine nearby. It looks fairly realistic.
  10. Can we have a "invisible to unit" or "invisible to group" option in the mission editor in addition to the one that we have?
  11. Static object names changing to "ammo" I can type in a name such as "Generator 1" for a static object, but once I close that and click on the unit again, the editor is changing it to "ammo" with a # number after it, it's doing it to other units aswell.

  14. Seems to be nothing to do with the flag, I've just changed it to be based on the time, and they ignore that too, so it has to be the hold command itself.

I have a mission where a couple of groups are commanded to hold at the start of a mission, and using the "stop condition" when user flag 29 is true which is triggered by a couple of apaches coming into a zone. This DID work prior to the last patch, but now they simply ignore it and just start moving to their next waypoint which means the Apaches don't get to them where they should.

  18. That worked, thanks. I was trying to simulate an S-3 dropping some torpedoes, and then 30 seconds later having an explosion in the water. Had to use Mk-82's as a stand in for torps though, looks good.
  19. I think so, I'll try it, didn't know you had to set it up as two things.
  20. I'd like to have a user flag get set, which then starts a timer, say 30 seconds, and after that another action is triggered (an explosion). Is there a way to do this?
