  5. Ehm.. as far as i know LOM is abv. of Lockon Model So i say "Yes".. It is specific to lock-on.. But as i proved wrong above thread.. i might be wrong again :)
  6. Importin a .LOM file is possible.. there is a program called Zmodeler2. The 2.0.9 version (might be 2.9.0) imports .LOM files and exports them to 3ds.. have a nice day..

  23. Gear hatch for example.. its invisible from the other side of the mesh planes and polys are only one sided.. is there a solution to this?..
  24. if thats so.. is it possible to assign a part for 2 jobs? like when you press F the flaps open..and When you press B again the flaps open kind?..Even as i write that, it seems not possible..
  25. OH!..ok.. now i understand.. and the answer is yes.. but i solved it... I made the model in 3dsmax9..than exported it as 3ds..and imported to 3dsmax7..At 3dsmax 7 the flaps was in one piece(the old edit poly>symetry>meshsmooth tree) than i divided it at max7..thats where the lom plug-in rejects the export..when divide it at max9 than imported to max7.. than it works.. Also..USSR_Gys71 was right..when you divide it in max7 if you set the UVW maps indivisually again for each part you divided.. it also works.. The problem is basicly UVW maps (again USSR_Gys71 is right) when max9 exports, it exports all parts with UVW maps. When you tinker them in max7 original UVW maps become useless. So you have to UVW map them again for a smooth lom export.. thanks for all the help guys.. keep it coming, gonna need them lot more on the way :)
