i too really would like to know how walmis give the canopy glass that greenish color.. the lom utils canopy glass material is pure white...

OK hoggers.. Daily update as i promised.. today its 82.356 poly.. all the red parts are optimized and junk polygons removed.. all grey parts are untouched yet.. all other colored parts are REMODELED!.. Some times its easyer to make it than try'n to clean it up.. including gears..rear and front.. not one detail removed or altered.. there you go.. , Front gear.. Rear gear (left) Pylons and missile holder..(or what ever their name is!) thats it for today.. happy days =Tuaf=Yeniceri PS:just noticed the cables at the gears are misplaced.. fixing it..

well bro.. i got good news and bad news for you.. the good news.. i have the model and its 57k poly one.. the bad news is.. its in bad shape.... i mean BAD.. check this out.. and check the wireframe This is not the way a 3d model should be in wireframe This is the way it should be If i know any kind of 3d..and i bet all the modelers here will agree, this is not a time spend, hand crafted 3d low poly model.... this is (with an optimistic guess) a polycrunched hi poly model in 3 mins max.. I am not trying to blame anyone here.. just pointing the obvious.. The ppl who said they worked on this .. they did not.. I will keep working on the hi poly one.. Trying to fix this is harder than making one from scratch!.. I hope the hi poly one is made by the person who said he made it.. and its not belong to a commercial collection or something.. This is WRONG!..3d is a hard thing to learn and do.The labour should be respected..well.. thats all... I am mad now and i just dont want to comment more about this.. by the way.. can be true.. but there is lots of useless poly on it.. it needs to be optimized.. i am not cutting any details out...I like the details too just optimizing.. besides.. Lots of ppl using medium or sub medium machines... have a hearth :)

Thanks for the link.. i got the goods :) Its on my desktop now.. here is the begining of the hog.. It has 114.879 poly now.. gimme a week.. i will update you guys on daily basis..

we just PM'ed with warthog man.. He offered to send me the file but he got a fried mainboard.. So the file can be at my desktop no more than 2 weeks.. I think i can push it and manage to do at least %40 in two weeks.. if you have another source..use it.. it will buy us time.. Actually..I am doing this A-10 because it is going to make a lot of ppl happy.. So short production time make more happy hoggers :) I can satisfy my modelling pleasure in another project.. Anyway.. i will start modelling it from stracth tomorrow morning (today :) ) if the model arrives to me before i make some important progress, we will turn to the pre worked one..If it stuck on the way for some reason at least we will be on the way.. win win i guess.. cheers Yeniceri. And a network backup system takes backup of file drivers every night. I work on model, file by file.. a file with body, a file with body and wings, a file with body and wings and canopy etc.. We will not lost a file.. A-10 IS going to finish :)
