well.. i need a pilot.. and i suck at human (organic ) figures and 3d.. does any of you have a pilot?

sorry to say.. but learning curve of any 3d software is too steep.. you will have to give too much time and effort .. for me..the whole graphic interface was started to have a tiny meaning after 2 months of nonstop working.. the best way is.. try to find the simplest tutorial you can find (best is max's own tutorials under help) and work your way up from there.. Its not something you can figure out in few hours, days or weeks if you are not smarter than einstein...

ppl.. i checked the strip.. after i revised there (the latest render) its now 121 poly for each wing 242 poly total..if we add the rotor blades (174 total) makes 416 poly.. so..it wont make any important diff.. check this out.. the red is the one i revised.. gray is the original model.. i handpick ever unneeded poly and delete it.. whole a-10 is going under same labour... after its done..if its still too much poly for you guys.. i am going to start scraping details.. but be warned..It will just gonna ruin the model..like low poly i posted few pages ago..if you want a detailed model.. you are gonna accept the fps loss ppl.. no any other way..:huh:

zaelu is right.. if its gonna look like the stock model at the end.. whats the point of diong it.. i think 65 k is ok for playing... but.. we are not even there yet

ok guys.. i was lazy yesterday and didnt touch it.. today i fixed the main wings.. But i must say, its getting harder to reduce poly without touching the details.. My estimation is..It will be impossible near 65.000 poly or something.. Its 76.000 now..there is pit (inc. canopy ), rear wings, stabs, flaps and rudders to work on. If 65.000 poly is ok (i think it is!) than the beast stays all details untouched. If its not i am going to have to start simplify things.. there you go.. No WIP pictures this time.. Quick renders for the eye candy :) C you later guys..

guys.. I wasnt planing to do an a-10.. In fact..I never fly an a-10 in lockon..ever!.. I am doing this couse i believe it will make ppl happy But i guess it is making lots of ppl unhappy... I am confused here.. i want to get over it as soon as possible.. and working over a made one is way faster.. I AM GOING TO FINISH THIS!!! No matter what ppl say.. No matter what happens.. Any further argument about a from scratch A-10 is futile.. (except..somebody proves that this model is stolen..than it aaaall stops and goes to garbage..literally) Edit.. Besides..There is almost just body and wings left original..or at least going to be.. after its done..I might get back to it and remodel them..I dont know yet..no promises..
