  2. ok guys i need a reality check here.. can i have ALL the a-10 pictures..I mean all of them.... specially detail shots.. Before starting animation, a want to check this thing inside out... Every detail is really welcome.. Work time ppl.. pay the hog :)
  3. well i was thinking of releasing it when the animation is over and do the damage as an update.. i can still hold on to it until damage model is over.. you guys decide...

  8. you are right trof.. my mistake.. now i mixed faces with triangles :) at polycounter in max.. i look at triangles always.. but thats the real poly count that means a-10 is 33.207 poly and 64.455 triangles :) ITs 33k poly guys :) hurrah!!!

  13. dont say that.. You have been a great help about lots of things.. I sometimes get confused about polys and faces and vertexes, etc.. One day i count polys, one day i count faces.. :) Sorry for confusion.. The A-10 count is faces.. on poly side its much less than 50.000.. but the pooly count on stock planes are much lower than that..

  17. sorry for spamming guys.. latest update.. 62.300 polys.. thats final.. i think the modelling is done.. tonight , i will retract the front gear..close the airbrakes.. hopefully tomorrow , rear gears and canopy will be back in their places.. than the animation.. render is the same as the last one so i will not put it in here.. Retracting is a little harder that i thought it will be.. in the model.. doors do not fit their places perfectly when they are shut.. so they need a little tweak here and there.. i think its gonna be ready for first test flight a week later..(without the texture) I have two questions to you guys.. What about damage modelling?.. Can somebody help me with the uv unwrap? Is uv unwrap going to be compatible with the existing a-10 skins or we'r gonna revise them too?..(my vote is for doing them again...lots of new parts..)

  21. ok guys.. now its 65.000 poly.. besides.. i have erased some bolts and pipes at the almost unseenable places.. i got no detail to erase anymore.... all the seenable parts and details stayed intact... the pilot deadman gave me was 18.000 poly (just noticed..sorry bro :( ) we need a 1000-1500 max poly pilot.. does any of you have it?
