As far as I know, digital purchases on the ED store cannot be refunded. How did you manage to ask for a refund? Is it possible to refund this module?

I reported the following as a bug back when the module was first released: The real Viggen engine nozzle: Our Viggen: That part of the model looks quite different compared to the real thing, ours is rather crude in my opinion. In my game it looks like that, maybe its different in yours. Thank you

I fully agree with you on everything. Aesthetically wise, I feel the model needs some work, yet the cockpit is one of it's high points, even though it's kind of an FPS hog. What I dont understand is why HB prioritizes modelling a AI Draken or implementing the Ground Crew or whatever is called over the Viggen module which at the end of the day is what really matters, at least to me. Just my opinion.

** AJS-37 Changelog / Update Master List **
Juancio replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
When activating the reverser you are supposed to see a smooth transition between the off and the on position. In my game the change is instantaneous. Tried repairing, and it solved the cannard problem, they are moving now, but the rest is still problematic. -

Hey Cobra thanks for answering. I started flying the Viggen a couple of weeks ago after flying the F-5 for a while and the first thing I noticed is the plane is lacking several animations. To name a few: - Wheel rotation while taxiing is off, really off. I looks weird, as if the airplane is sliding around. - My radar stick is not moving (it's supposed to right?) - Throttle linkage - ̶C̶a̶n̶n̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ - Moving wing surfaces shake all the time - Thrust reverser on or off, no trantision in between. - Engine nozzle - No turbine animation (the back of the engine looks rather crude and incomlete). Made a thread about this in the bug section. -
** AJS-37 Changelog / Update Master List **

I didn't notice any changes in the last patch. Trimming is still problematic, model animations are non-existant, unlimited ammo doesn't work, etc. I don't know why they are taking this long to polish this thing, perhaps they are busy with the F-14 right now, so it's worth the wait. -
Sorry but I disagree with you. If you take a look at the su-27, f15, mig21, mig29, etc, to name a few, you will notice they all have fully detailed animated engine nozzles with spinning blades that look far from just grey blur. I also noticed wheel rotation is off, the animation is too slow. When the plane moves very slowly there is no rotation at all. It looks weird, as if the plane was sliding around. Maybe they fix this sometime in the future. Sorry for my english.

Im talking about the stuff behind the afterburner. Our Viggen has nothing behind it, just a black grey texture. If you look at the real engine, there are blades and other parts behind it. I repeat, this is a very minor problem, the rest of the model is top quality, so if Heatblur can improve this part a little bit, then it would be perfect. PS: Nice picture you took there Goblin

Hello guys, I was flying the Viggen and noticed that the engine bay on the model is rather incomplete and lacking in the details department. It looks kind of crude compared to lets say, the Mig-21. I know its kind of minor, but are you planning to improve this? I attached some pics below and a screenshot to compare them. Thank you.

Glad to hear it. Thank you.

Whenever the pilot body is enabled, the seat cant be moved at all. It only works if the body is disabled. Thanks
-
Changed it to 2700 and it solved the problem. Thank you very much for your help, ground control is very smooth now.
-
How do I do that? The plane drifts around too easily and I lose control after after landing. Thanks
-
So, they removed this module from "beta" status, but this problem still persists.

Main white lights and red floodlights/night lighting are not working on the latest 2.03 (update 3) version. Please have a look at this. Thanks.
-
Thanks for looking into it.

I noticed the AI Mig-21s lack engine fan blades animation. Only the player aircraft has the proper animation implemented. Is this intended or a bug? Thanks.

[REPORTED]Crash to desktop after today update

Same problem. No mods installed. -
Flood lights are not working in 2.03, but they do in 1.54, is this intended?

This is from today’s changelog: DCS MiG-21Bis by Leatherneck Simulations Changed default FOV to 150 degrees Fixed side-slip ball while flying inverted. Adjusted flight dynamics with drag chute deployed. Corrected check warning lights button on landing gear panel causing the intake nose cone to extend. Redefined ventilation lever from axis to lever. Adjusted fuel set knob animation assignment to controller rotaries. Adjusted ASP rotary inputs for controller devices. Fixed trigger zone of canopy ventilation system handle. Fixed canopy visibility and animation after rearm/repair. Fixed when AI only fires S-5M rockets in pairs. Corrected R-60M’s all aspect seeker-head. Increased nose cone damage value. Optimized LODs. Added VVS Metal livery. Fixed fuel tank pylons’ texture. Fixed Southeria livery’s unweathered left wing. Created new specular textures for metal and painted liveries. Created normal bump textures for visible damage. Corrected UV mapping on windscreen. Corrected normals’ orientation on static center airbrake. Fixed alpha channel presets for landing gear chocks. Holes now show. Remodeled tires’ animation and damaged looks. Animated engine fan blades. Removed canopy covers for further testing with end-of-shutdown animation. Disabled intake relief and spill doors’ visibility arguments for further testing. Partially fixed two primary engine sounds at mission start. Thank you LN, this is fantastic!

Im having the same problem, even made a thread about it, here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171851 I think its related to some kind of imput lag or response problem. I find it very annoying.
-
The afterburner flame looks as if it was made in 1996. It wasn't so bad before the update, the flame shouldn't rotate, the engine fan blades should. Please fix this, it looks very low quality.

I did try this but it didn't solve the problem. After some testing I noticed the throttle levers in the cockpit move when given joystick imput but the AB fails to light, even when those levers are at the MAX position, so this doesn't seem to be a curve setting problem. AB lights if I reapply power a couple of times. Something seems to be out of sync. Thanks
-
Sorry, maybe I didn't make myself clear. What I'm experiencing it's not an AB system failure per se. The problem is related to the throttle response from full dry thrust to full afterburner. When I apply the necessary power needed to light the AB (from max dry thrust) during normal flight conditions (pulling no Gs, level flight, whatever), it doesn't go into full AB, but it sticks to max dry thrust (sorry for being redundant). AB lights if I decrease power and proceed to reapply it fully, so as you can see, this is not a "AB system failure" but something else. It happens while flying the F5E only.
-
Please don't hijack the thread. It's not an AB failure what I was reporting, it's a throttle response problem. I can make the AB work if I yank the lever around a little bit, but that's not how it's supposed to work. Thanks
