UltraMFCD - drag, resize and click display exports. Zero configuration.

UltraMFCD has returned Tonight UltraMFCD returned to operation - don't know what happened or why it went off the air for nearly a week but its back on now!:) -
I was flying last night on a US group and my FPS took a hammering - playing havok with Track IR - the later it got the better it was. My spec of computer is below so I think the issue was the internet as I'm in the UK as well - perhaps?

I am in the same position - there is nothing as easy and 'plug and play' as this program was. I have dropped the creator several emails but no reply - so far! We live in hope I guess?! As for Helios its my only alternative too, but with three monitors used for DCS display of different sizes - 1 32inch and two side 20inch in portrait format plus one 20 inch for instruments it won't be easy. The other problem being the export.lua required which clashes with my need for Tacview to run (sometimes tagging it at the end works, sometimes not)...happy days of configuration rather than flying... -

You choose the displays you want to display separately and they appear in separate windows which can be moved, resized and clicked. So its easy to drag an MFD to any monitor resize it and place it beneath attached TM MFD Cougars for instance - you could even blank the original displays in DCS. Also it allowed the use of a color TGP display which was an upgrade to the A-10C. Add to all this a CDU which you could type into using your pc keyboard. Only problem was that since Feb. this year Nvidia drivers started killing the framerate of the displays but it worked amazingly with version 353.62. I will be devastated if we have lost it. -

Whats happened to UltraMFCD WEF from 30th July the beta UltraMFCD has stopped working and the website has been removed - anyone have any info on what's happened? Great shame ruined by Nvidia changes I shall mourn the loss of the simplest and most effective way to export A-10C instruments if this is a permanent end. -
Make sure you are running with full screen option unchecked - if checked mouse will not work.
-
Try UltraMFCD https://ultramfcd.com/ allows dragging instruments to second monitor, resizing, clickable and more. No alteration to DCS just run in the background and choose your options including color TGP for A10C. Not sure what other aircraft it supports but it works fine on my hog, maybe slight loss of FPS but acceptable. Many postings concerning this on these forums.

Warning: Nvidia Geforce driver hotfix 353.49
Skowtura replied to Skowtura's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Oh and the hotfix didn't fix my Chrome problems either - whatever happened to stable browsers? -
Just for info. I am using a GTX770 with driver version 353.30 with DCS running with no problems. However due to some issues with Chrome I noticed a hotfix available ver. 353.49 (8th July 2015). On running this update DCS began to crash randomly - rolled back the update and all is stable, so beware Hotfix 353.49!

Disable Fullscreen in Options I run three screens and if the fullscreen option is checked the mouse does not work (Win7) - might be the problem!? -
What kind of Headtracking system are you using?

EdTracker (magnetometer version) for me with Opentrack, really good and stable. -
Tacview, the ACMI for DCS World – Official Thread

Conflict of Export.lua requirements I am currently using an IPad app 'A-10C CDU which uses an Export.lua in the scripts directory to run. Now I note that Tacview uses an Export.lua to export the flight logs. Since the Tacview lua is a 'one-liner' is there a way to incorporate this in the new Export.lua or any other solution so that both can run? -
Re Opentrack 2.3 I'm using Opentrack 2.3 with EdTracker in DCS with no problems. Had a few sensitivity issues especially in Multiplayer, but stable now. Make sure in the freetrack option that the interface is 'Use TrackIR, hide FreeTrack'. All the best
