Shit I mean tot put this in the LOMAC general discussion. Sorry. I wasn't flying a helicopter I was flying an Eagle. But is there any other way to defeat the missiles in an Eagle?

I read about how to beam a missile when you first detect it go hard 90 to the right or left on your wing to stop the missile's dopplar track. But when I did that the thingslammed right into me. What did I do wrong I went hard 90 and it still hit me how do i evade these?

I just decided to try an experiment and i went ahead bought them sepratly to see if they will run correctly instead of installing them with Gold so they'll be 2 seperate programs hopefully this'll fix the problem, i don't know?

Yeah it was arelief to fix that cockpit problem but now in the middle of amission as you said Zakkron we always have the game crash when we 're both doing well in a mission but haven't saved it. What's up with that? is thewre a fix? i'm just thinking about rebuying it off Amazon and seeing if it continues to crash the question is wheter to buy it Gold or both Seperate so i'd have LOMAC and then the add on FC in 2 different boxes or just get it on 2 cds and hope they aren't corrupt.

That made the biggest difference.But now running it as an admin it is fine, what's the difference? Except for the fact it crashes every 10-15 mins ingame why does it do that?

The graphics card I'm using is an ATI RADEON 4670 DUAL The drivers are ST316002 ST350062 both are up to date I checked

Yes I'm downloading the cd versions because thats the way I got it. What do you think is the problem? I downloaded patch 1.1b too see if that might fix it we will see. it hought patches were supposed to help the program instead its making this thing worse, WHAT THE HELL MAN! I just installed LOMAC and not FC and added the patches 1.01 to 1.02 and yet it still crashes wven when I change the compatibility. WHAT THE HELL THIS GAME HATES ME!

Yes I do Ihave LOMAC GOLD. It's just whenever I install all that is needed to run on Vista and change the compatibility it still doesn't fix the translucent and white plane problem.

I don't know what the HELL happened. I uninstalled FC then just LOMAC then rinstalled it using the 1.12b patch and the Star Force driver say the latest are up to date. but still the cockpits are translucent I guess LOMAC won't cooperate with me. I set it to compatibility with Windows XP should I go lower?

I did install the 1.12b patch, along with some sort of Star Force Driver update but now the cockpits are translucent and the planes apppear white, what's up with that? Can you direct me to the Star Force driver update website where I can download the right driver updat,and not just the Star Force web site.

I don't know why but onc I got my new gaming computer about a week ago I finally installed LOMAC. But itwon't take FC because it won't run on VISTA. And whenever I try to change the controls or key commands it never changes it stays the same. And one thing that buggs me is I'll be in the middle of a missio and the entire game will shut down and windows will say LOMAC is having a problem it will have to close. Does anybody know a solution to these problems? I've installed the 1.10 and 1.02 patches. Also whenever I try to complete a mission what I do is not follow the waypoints but get vectored to the nearest bandit, and even when I take out all the enemy aircraft i still fail. is it due to not following the waypoints? How do you get SUCCESS in a LOMAC mission?

When ever I download a file from flankertraining.com it always appears as a zip file. But inside is nothing but audio. How do i install these files to see the mission? I tried it with modman and it failed. Can someone tell me I've heard they're really helpful.

If you could send me the files that'd be sweet! Along with some instructions on how to install them?

I did what you said OldCrow I went into bazar/world/shapes then deleted Su-33.lom and it didn't work sad to say it still appears a white F-18 with too many missiles. Howver there are more than 1 Su-33.lom file in that folder should I delete them all?

I have some problems with LOMAC locking up. I'll be in the middle of a mission andswitch to a different view or cycle through the aircraft and it'll Lock up. Maybe it's my computer or is this a problem with LOCK ON itself?

I did try MOdMan I installed the F-18 then uninstalled it but that didn't work. And sad to say i don't have a friend who has Lock on. So i guess I'll have to deal with it. Plus like you said I've never been in the registry. Are there any other ways or should i just stick with what i got? Do you think if I went to lockonfiles.com and downloaded a new SU-33 then it would overwrite the F-18 model? This isn't as easy as FSX or FS2004 is it? I downloaded from Lockonfiles.com F/A-18 flyable ver1.02 and installed it. But I forgot to back up the Su33 files so now every SU-33 is an F-18 with too many missiles. I thought deleting the textures would do it but apparently not. Is there a way to bring back the SU-33? I tried uninstall reinstall (didn't work) also tried adding FC didn't is she gone forever?

If you install the TOP GUN mod then where in the game do you find a tomcat and where is the mission? Also can the tomcat be flown with any mission taking the place of an eagle?

The LOMAC version I have right now is v.1.02 ( I don't know if that's FC, I have gold but didn't install FC so is it FC) and is there a playable F-14? I've seen many videos of people flying them btu i don't know where to find it and how to install it? I tried LOMAN it wouldn't register it? Any suggestions I'd really like to be a Cat driver other than an Eagle. bUt if I download and install the cat will the eagle disappear?

no player that I have will play these. One is a.trk file the other is an .lma file the rest are recordings, so how do u se the video? or is it just all audio You know one thing I'm noticing is that I release the chaff/flares too early . When the enemy fires a missile i release them immediately, but the missile hasn't seen thewm yet. So I tried release right before they hit me and it WORKED! They flew right past me I guess cause they saw the flares. i was in about a 1190 degree right turn downward away from the missile. It seems when i break into them they hit me but when it's away fom them they miss cause they see the chaff and flares. Does this eem to be a good type of tactic? Also who flies with the labels on is it better to or not to and not see your targets label and know where it is.

When ever I play LOMAC I always have fun. Butthere is a big disadvantage and annoyance I'm having. That is that I believe I don't know very many defensive bfm missile manuevers. I will have an Su-33 at my 2 o clock low and a MIG-29 at my 8 o clock high and the mIG will fire at me so I break into the missile sometimes it hits me other times not. then I'm out of position for a kill on either of them but the SU-33 then fires and shoots me down. It annoys me that I can't evade missiles. I rarely play it on Immortal, but can anybody suggest anything out there for some help in beating this?
