  1. I agree, the wind cover/shield does give those radars a distinctive appearance. I'll see if I can put together an additional variant with the cover on.
  2. No, I forgot to mention that (I'll update the GitHub), I've ended up just modeling the MTR, TTR, and TRR as pretty much the same. I've got no idea how to get a radar to track the missile, but that would be nice. The HIPAR and LOPAR, however, do have different capabilities.
  3. This mod adds a basic MIM-14 Nike Hercules system with multiple accompanying structures. The missile currently uses a conventional warhead due to limitations in remotely accurately modeling high yield warheads in DCS. The mod contains custom 3d models and some basic livery variations for the MIM-14B/C, a static launcher (I may make and animated launcher, but for now the missiles are always in the raised position), accompanying radars, control trailers, and ancillary structures. The missile's flight model has been built on top of the vanilla DCS SA-5 system, adjusted to follow the unique flight profile and tuned to approximate available documentation. Much more information and additional images of the components of this mod can be found on the GitHub repository. DCSNikeSAMs - GitHub How to Install Download the latest release from GitHub https://github.com/SirPueo/DCSNikeSAMs Extract the Nike_Hercules file into C:\Username\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech NOTE: I'd worked on this mod earlier this year and didn't intend on releasing it, but I've had some time to finish up to a point that I feel is usable. I've seen there have been some other working on similar mods, but seeing as how discussion on their threads has died down, I figured I'd release my attempt at such a mod. I'm not sure how often I will upkeep this mod, but hope that its similarity to the vanilla SA-5 system's files will allow it to work in future versions of DCS.
  4. Here's my pass at some Argentine Navy liveries: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3345471/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3345470/

  6. Oh man, I'd love officially implemented aerial firefighting.
  7. You're probably best off just filtering by the F-16 and single missions (or multiplayer) and then setting the date from August 2020 (I think that's when Syria map was first available) to today. That seems to cut down the number of missions a lot.
  8. As far as I know the doors will be removable but the mast won't be. The mast is quite integral to the d-model's operation and design and so I don't think it is optional.
  9. I'm having the same problem, I'm sorry if I'm hijacking this thread, but it seemed to be the right place for my problem. I have freshly installed DCS via Steam on a new computer and I am having the same problem as described, the ED logo loads but then fades away to black, with only the DCS menu music playing. I have the Open Beta but my folder within savedgames is just DCS and not DCS.openbeta, so I don't know if that is at the root of any problems. I also do not see an ImagesShop folder (I don't know if that is a function of this being a fresh install or it being via Steam) so I can't seem to try that technique. I think I have attached my log correctly and I apologize If I have not done it properly. I believe the section in the middle of the log was created purely due to my attempt to launch the DCS in fullscreen (but I really don't know). It looks to me (a person lacking tech skills) that line 150 may be the root of the problem. It says: UIBASERENDERER: Cannot load font [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\dxgui\skins\fonts\]! dcs.log MY FIX: I launched DCS from inside the AMD control panel and it completely worked. After setting the resolution settings I desired I then tried to open it from Steam and it worked perfectly as well. I don't know if my problem stemmed from the graphics driver not knowing what to do with DCS or something else, but if those having problems have the option to try this I would give it a shot. (IDK if Nvidia has a similar game launching feature)
