My Warthog gimbal is fine at the moment, but I really like the look of the gimbal pictured here. Can you buy just the base gimbal to use with the Warthog grip?

I can't comment of the VKB's, but after just receiving my MFG Crosswinds my pedal buying days are over. You can have them when you pry them from my cold, dead fingers!! Best sim gear I have ever bought and exceed the hype they get from their very satisfied customers/users.

Mine have cleared customs in New York and left JFK for the parcel delivery center here in Michigan, then finally to my house. Can't wait!!:joystick:

I was wondering the same thing myself. I have both the Cougar and the Warthog and really like the Cougar better. The factory gimbal is horrible in the Cougar, which is why I bought the Warthog. If I had a modded NXT Cougar, I'd use it over a Warthog every time. The only complaint I have with the Cougar is old firmware.. I'm currently in the process of doing a NXT style mod on my Cougar gimbal and will park the Warthog when it's done.

Ordered mine in the beginning of August, received my invoice a few days ago, paid the bill and received my tracking number today. Pumped up and anxiously awaiting their arrival!!

Ack, sad to see that you still haven't got yours ordered in July yet, ordered mine in early August and was hoping to see them sometime soon :(

That's funny, I just received a new coolie hat from Guillemot. They answered my email immediately with an automated reply. I had to go through their process which involved emailing them a few more times, paying them with PayPal and waiting weeks for delivery but they did come through in the end. It doesn't happen fast, but it is possible if you're patient.

Hello Home Fries, First, thank you for all of your amazing work, your profiles are a great gift to the community as a whole and are much appreciated! :thumbup: With that said, I am having a slight issue that I'm hoping you can help me with. After finally figuring out how to install these into DCS with the help of "The Nephilm" (another great guy!) the FC3 profile loads(as it should) by default and works fine. The problem I'm running into is that now that I want to fly the A10-C, I can't get that profile to load. I don't have Cougar MFD's, so I went into the TARGET script editor and added the "//" to FC3 and removed them from the A10-C line. When I restart the script it continues to load FC3 even though the edit was made to the default load info. Any ideas as to what's going on here??

Slaw pedals don't exist While there's no doubt that these pedals are great, it really means nothing if one can't buy them. I see people saying others should give them a try, but they don't mention how I'm supposed to get that done as Slaw has stated that they refuse to take anymore orders and won't for any foreseeable future. While it's nice that you have them, no one else can purchase them so telling us how great they are and that we should try them is pointless,

Hey, Nephilim, thank you so much for the help!! I've been a member of SimHQ since 2000, so no problem there. I see you in their TS now and then. I play Arma 3 with the SimHQ bunch and fly IL-2 and DCS with some friends there. I'm available at your convenience any time, it would be great to get these profiles up and running.

No, I haven't loaded any profile into DCS yet. I'm not sure I could at the moment if I wanted to as I've never done it nor have I researched it to know. I go to the CCP and the microstick works in manual calibration mode. When I try to map in in the F-15 section of the controls the RX axis does not work. Also, if I go into TARGET and try to analyze it I don't see it working there either. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. I should just try and load up the profile if I can figure out how and see what happens.:cry:

I'm just trying to make it work in the controls menu outside of any profile. I did edit my tmc file but have never loaded a profile into DCS and I'm having problems.

Yes, the microstick on the throttle. It should be the left and right of the microstick, the up and down (RY) work fine. Wanted to use it to slew the TD in the F-15C.

Man, you just never know what you're going to run in to with computers and sims. It seems that the old firmware/software of the Cougar doesn't play well with USB 3.0. After beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why the CCp wouldn't recognize my Cougar, I moved it to a USB 2.0 slot and bingo, it saw it. Now if I can just figure out why I don't have "RX" axis that functions even though "RY" does I'll be golden. The CCP shows in working in calibration mode, but windows shows it as "S2" which is a slider for a rotary. SMH:no_sad: P.S. Thank you for the help Nephilim, much appreciated!

I d/led the vista drivers, but not in any particular compatibility mode. I now have the CCP, but it doesn't see the stick even though windows recognizes it. Is it possible that this is happening because I didn't use compatibility mode to run the .exe??

Hello, I was wondering if anyone is using HomeFries profiles in DCS with Windows 8.1? I read his instructions provided with the for installation and it references going to the Cougar control panel. I have the original disc that came with the Cougar and I know Foxy has the CCP but it won't install to Windows 8.1. I couldn't find a CCP in TARGET so I'm a little lost as to where to go from here?? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm anxious to try his profiles out with my Cougar!! :joystick:
