    It's always been that way. The mod does work with vanilla textures, but it does NOT work with some other texture packs.
  6. If you're still learning the ropes you shouldn't be flying the campaign IMHO. With that said, take the extra time and get rid of easy comms, they create more problems than they solve. I'd also revert to 1.5.4 for the time being, 1.5.5 has quite a few AI bugs.
  7. I like how for most people the problem is they're lawn risks getting slightly spoiled by a debatable minor advantage in PvP airquake.

  9. A very slow target, and I remember 7 but it could have been leas. Long story short, vanilla missiles were useless.
  10. I doubt third parties can do whatever they want regardless of ED's decisions. The missile changes you speak of are essential, since stock 530s wouldn't hit a non-manuevering target when fired from 7nm in rear aspect.
  11. Actually the Hog loadouts make an excellent point. A-10Cs never fly with TERs full of Mavericks, and if they do they leave home the TGP. The latter is also used much less IRL than what we can do in the sim. MWS and countermeasures are also made up, as well as the JTRS and JDAMs. Yet nobody bats an eye.

  17. Well I'm sorry about the MiG-21, last time I checked it wasn't working. What I meant is that the campaign is very good and immediately caters to SP players, instead of pushing the module with future plans of adding campaigns, or waiting for the community to create content. Besides, the amount of work required to create good 10+ missions long, fully voiced and documented campaigns isn't approachable by normal users, not if you want it coming free with the module itself. Most high-production value campaigns are additional payed DLCs. If you're content in MP and single unrelated SP missions fine, but the fact that RAZBAM is coming out of the box with such content shouldn't be understated. And again, not "everyone" can create high-quality missions, let alone entire campaigns, unless your idea of a high-quality mission is throwing a bunch of air units and spawning the player in an airport with no guidance or story. Different views, but you not being interested in well done out of the box officially supported SP does not make it irrelevant in the purchase decisions of others.

Because everyone has flawless internet connections, access to a dozen of voice actors, a number of beta testers, hundreds of hours to put in creating a working campaign, training missions, and documentation. Look at all the SP content and campaigns modules like the F-5E and the MiG-21 have. Oh wait, they don't or they don't work. This is not to say those are great modules, it's just that RAZBAM is the first one that is releasing a module with a good SP component behind it, instead of relying on the community to create content. But I guess that's beneath you. Ok.

  21. Are you 1.5.5? It introduced a bunch of AI bugs, some wingmen related. You might want to revert to 1.5.4 and try on that version. Easy Comms has a history of causing all kind of problems with communications in scripted missions.

  25. It will come with the module. Besides, 1.5.5 introduced quite a few bugs and given ED's current direction it's debatable whether it actually makes sense for the designers to continuosly look for new bugs and relative workarounds. This is not RAZBAM's official position obviously.
