  2. Although the sim is amazing, it's not perfect. We still have hydraulics with an only windmilling engine, even though the 1A-10A-1 and the real checklists show that it's incorrect behaviour. Let me reiterate having inconsistencies and incorrect behaviours is perfectly fine, it's simply matter of acknowledging the issue. Multiple proof was posted some time ago. Latest I heard was from a go someone had on the real A-10 USAF sim. Didn't real contracts call for 775 ITT during climbs? We can hardly reach that value in DCS at MAX power. Either ITT has two different meanings in the sim and IRL, the real contracts are wrong, or something is amiss with the engines and their behaviour. e.g. From the 1A-10A-1, Cold Weather Operation: I've never seen 865°C ITT ever in the gauges. From the 1A-10A-1, Sample Inflight Data Log Hi-Lo-Hi Combat Mission: And 775°C ITT can't be MAX power (which is around what we get at MAX in the sim if memory serves) since again from 1A-10A-1, Combat Performance Charts (General): Implying 775°C ITT isn't from a MAX thrust power setting.
  3. Although DCS has issues especially in the engines department, at air shows the pylons are removed as well and we can't do that in the sim.

  7. I had the SPI generator be the IFFCC twice in all the hours I have in the A-10C, and I never understood how that happened. Also, be careful not to confuse SOI, SPI, and SPI generators. A SPI is not saved in "temporary memory", it is continuously generated by the SPI generator (that is shown in the HUD's bottom left hand corner).
  8. 1. Technically yes, the laser may be hidden by the target itself (e.g. one side of the truck). Painting the top should get rid of the problem. With that said, buddy lasing is done with both aircrafts coming from the same direction anyway. 2. Yes, provided you can point the TGP in the general area of the painted target.

    Much less. A-10s fly and fight best when they're light on armament.
  11. It's the same difference that passes between AIM-9s and CAP-9s, or AGM-65s and TGM-65s. I guess it's mainly a "realism" aspect though.

    Which Mod are you guys using? I know the cockpit. Don't assume I'm asking for it jsut for the heck of it or because I don't want to learn my way around it. There may be other reasons.

    I don't think the guys coding the systems and FM are the same working on textures. If they have time to work on the Harrier textures, they should have time to work on the Mirage as well.

    Is there an updated, fully functional English cockpit mod somewhere? What is Razbam's official English cockpit status?
  16. First make sure it's a shortcut. If it is, make another one. If it still doesn't work, open the shortcut options and make sure the "open in" folder is SRS'.
  17. 5 and 7 do not drop pairs for safety reasons. 18 Mk-82s, did you even manage to takeoff?

    I've always been on Razbam's side regarding the M-2000C, followed the development closely throghout the Alpha, and was quite pleased with how the module shaped up. I don't regret buying it in the slightest. With that said, I've recently dived back in after a few months of hiatus and I must say I'm quite disappointed. Wherever I look I see small bugs, inconsistencies, badly explained mechanics, the manual is mostly out of date, most of the info must be found in single forum posts. With Razbam concentrating on the Harrier (which is fine), I will not be buying any of their new modules until the M-2000C is in a much better state.

  20. That there are situations where you may want to force a mod to load before another one. Indeed this is the only feauture of JSGME that I miss in OvGME.
