Can someone who has used the development kit version one of the Rift Please Say if it is able to be used with DCS or no, and is the newer version much better or about the same?
The reason I ask is there is one for sale on Trade Me and it is buy now 180 dollars. Should I get it or forget it?
Ah yes I see that it works only on EDs now .Not third party .How do you pan around properly? The plane just appears to rise and fall with head tracking. No movement apart from that.
Thanks BN
Can I just install over the existing install?
Or to put it another way can I easily reinstall all my aircraft from the main menu in DCS if I do a new install?
When I click on this nothing happens. This is in 1.5 version
Something odd happened to my windows 10 install so I did a recovery and that got it working properly. But still this little problem with the menu persists.Any suggestions as to get it working again?:(
I would try doing a repair but that is no longer available under the start button. The DCS folder is not their any more because of the recovery on win 10 I did:helpsmilie:
Appart from these things DCS still seems to work okay.
How do I get these menu items under start back?
Great Verde
I had the same problems on my triple moniter setup.
Yours look a lot better than mine .I have a Dell 27" with two 23 inch screens. Anyway I was getting so brassed off with having no zoom on the Mustang.I was trying to use the zoom which is the last entry under axis for Track IR and that kind of worked but the cockpit was far to big. Then I finally stumbled on the solution.
Dinga
You can go into control setting again and set the z axis under axis settings track IR to absolute longitudinal shift camera view. That should let you zoom in and out alright
Hi Kamikaze
I posted about this on the Hawk over at Vaeo forum here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=159472.
it might only affect a few hawk owners because only you me and a couple of others have mentioned it.
Maybe you could post over there.
