  1. I've seen an NVG like that at Spangdahlem Airbase Open House this summer (81st Fighter Squadron). They told us that while these could not be used with the F-16, they would be in use with the A-10Cs and have a FOV of around 90° (if I remember correctly). So they are definately issued and if I understood them correctly are already being used in service. Unfotunately one could not look through them as they had no caps for daylight protection :/ but the look through a GEN4 monocular was impressive as well =) -> so maybe the talented people producing these new overlays could consider making one with a 90°FOV as well (unfortunately I have no idea how it is to look through these NVGs
  2. looks great =) can't wait to drop 'em ;-)
  3. thanks, sorry didn't read carefull enough .. hope I can make it on friday, not 100% sure though .. have a nice flight, guys Julius edit: Can I still join the session if I'm 30min too late ? I don't know if I can make it in time.

  5. Serial#: 01239 Location: Near Cologne, Germany
  6. hey kuky, it's al little bit OT, but how did you turn your cougar so it rests at an angle and is easier to use as a center mounted stick ? happy landings Julius
  7. I tried arnehs way of trimming but it didn't work for me as I don't have any FFB devices. For trimming I also use a combination of in-game trim for the rudder pedals (not connected to Cougar) and the trim function of the HOTAS. /P LOCK (JOYSTICK, LASTVALUE) TRIM (JOYSTICK, TO_CURRENT) /R Trimmer DLY(60) TRIM (JOYX, 0) TRIM (JOYY, 0) UNLOCK (JOYSTICK) Usage: Hold the button, center the stick, release the button, center the pedals.
