  1. Actually Starforce still has a lot of problems, and with a new OS like Vista I would be hesitant to install anything that could lead to an instable OS. I for one will look at this closer when BS is released, if they use starforce. However, I don't think there is much debate to be done on it. ED will do what ED has to do, and the consumers will do what they have to do. But from a logical standpoint I don't see why anyone would want to use a copy protections system that most of their customers don't like though, but again, that's not our place to say.
  2. :megalol::megalol::megalol: Nice Find! :thumbup:
  3. Thanks for this, now I'm all excited again. :smilewink:

  5. I agree the text boxes could use a bit more contrast, but these are not bad. If anything maybe adjust the contrast on your monitor just a little? Also, I don't know much about Vbulletin forums, but could you create an option in the user profile for members to choose the style they want?
  6. I like it. Change is good and it means things are being worked on. It's much easier on the eyes, and studies show that blue is calming... maybe it will cut down on some of the debates  Edit: Now I have to change my Sig to match ... lol
  7. THANKS!!! I don't know why I didn't think about this from old DOS programming days. I often have problems with my TrackIR and I am going to try this solution out.
  8. I have CH pedals and don't know how I ever flew without pedals. I agree that the CH pedals are a little close together, but you can't beat CH customer support! I haven't tried the Saitek pedals, but since all my bad experiences with their joysticks I'm a CH man now.
  9. Awesome update. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!!
  10. I would also suggest reading the following book.... http://www.amazon.com/Andrew-Rollings-Ernest-Design-Riders/dp/1592730019 Excellent information about what you are looking for.:)
  11. Thanks!! Good info here
  12. Excellent work, no more sifting through so many OT posts to find out what's going on! Thank you!!
  13. Yes, Thank you for the updates!
  14. Thank you for the video. It appears as there will be a whole lot of training involved with BS. :pilotfly:
  15. Thank you for all this information!
  16. Thank you Urze:thumbup:
  17. Just curious if we are going to recieve any "official" updates anytime soon. It's been a while, I think mid October, since we've had an official update. Not asking for nothing special, maybe just a post stating the status of things as compared to a month ago or something. :) Here's some things that might be of interest... New Screenies ME progress AI planes included (doesn't have to be a complete list) Overall status (in other words, How are you all doing?)
  18. :yay: Happy Birthday!
  19. YES! Give us Transport roles. :megalol:
  20. Yes, you can set up a button to cycle through 3 different modes. I'm fairly new with the CH products, but CH Hangar has all kinds of info for you. :)
  21. So I got my new CH Fighter Stick, Pro Throttle and Pedals (in the mail) and was digging around for a template. While there are many out there to pick from I couldn't find one to satisfy me so I decided to create a couple Photoshop templates. I created a Single Mode Programming template for those simple games, and a Multi Mode Programming template for the more intense games. There is plenty of extra space so you can add your own text depending on how much information you want to add to it. By no means am I saying these are good, I just thought I would share them in case any one else might like them. I did not include the CH pedals, because I think that if you can't remember what your pedals do you probably shouldn't be flying. :P The templates are in .psd format!! They are also fairly large, I just didn’t feel like resizing them to 72dpi, so they are 300dpi, feel free to resize. Right now they are a default 11 x 8.5 standard letter landscape. When editing the file just open the appropriate folder within PS and edit the text that you want to change. I organized the layers and folders so that it's pretty straightforward. Click HERE for a Screenshot of the Single Mode Template. Click HERE for a Screenshot of the Multi Mode Template. If you like what you see download it, use it, share it... 22. Must have pedals. I went to a friends house who had pedals the other day and mine are in the mail now. I also agree on Track IR, since I got mine there is no way I could fly without it. In fact, I think I'm ready for BS now...;)
  23. Very well put!
  24. Nice vid!!
