The best way to stop spam is a limit for new users where first 3 or more posts have to be accepted by moderators.

Over time captcha becomes less clear but IMHO is still readable...

I remember before FC2 release that you said that the LO is a history and it is better to focus on DCS series. Why did you change your opinion?

From my experience I'm nearly sure your upload is too slow. You have typical client connection. Keep in mind that your connection couldn't be able to handle a lot of outcoming packets. Have you tried to monitor network traffic on the host computer?
