I would say pick a weapon, A2G or A2A, and practice with it until you know the basic characteristics and what it's going to do in the DCS Sim. Once you're comfortable move on to the next weapons system. It's easy to get behind trying to master everything so keep it simple. As already said, look at Chuck's guide and watch what others are doing/saying. This isn't a race. Just my 2 cents

Many systems are tied to “Weight on Wheels” to prevent accidental discharge

If multiple birds are coming in at different times I think they are stacked at 1000 ft intervals before the "commencing" call

With Weapons safe and AA off, the "C" will cage the HUD in flight

Hit the A/P on the UFC. When you're steady hit button 3 (BALT) and BALT and ATC should show in the DDI

I had F18E controls set on another SIM (Which I no longer fly) I was able to cross reference them and set the DCS bird up in about an hours or so

Since last Sat my rotary zoom only has two settings in the cockpit. It's either super close up or from behind the ejection seat. Anyone else having these issues? I've gone and reset the axis throttles to no avail and everything was working fine before the update.

Mike, Make sure your file properties in the /User/DCSXX are not set to "Read Only." Otherwise you'll spend a lot of time reprogramming your settings.

I guess Autothrottle won't do that correctly so we get into the habit of using the stick. When do you come out of AT?
