I don't know, when I was a P/C in the Navy (78-84) we never left switch's in the "On" position after we did our Pre/Post flight, but then again we were running NC-8's and Huffer's for power and air instead of the battery and APU.

I can't recall if the ATC is giving the True bearing or Magnetic Bearings when calling out the ships bearing. You may have to take that into account when looking at the F10 map

I have my Modified "DMDS_ALE47.lua" file on my desktop. After every update I drop it into the D/DCSWorld OpenBeta/ MODS/Aircraft/FA18C/Cockpit/scripts/TEWS/Device. I've shortcutted my TEWS folder so it's just a open, drag and drop. No issues with the integrity checks.

If you wanted a working product with no ability to dogfight on multiplayer servers, have lag up the wazzoo, and no ability to do formation flying, VRS has a BUG, but you're not going to be able to enjoy the play that DCS offers. I get the frustration, but looking at the alternatives, and how far DCS has come since 2008, I don't think there's a platform that can match it. So I will drink my adult beverage and be happy with the fact that I have a Charlie model that still needs maintenance, just like in real life.
