For those who use the ME alot, are there ground-based templates that you could help me out with? I'm trying to create at least one for each country that haven't been implemented in dcs. It could range from straight-out tanks, to long range CP sites w/SAM's and stuff, would be appreciated, thanks.:helpsmilie:

I'm trying to find the parts necessary to play dcs 1.5 at the LEAST it's minimum requirements, however most seem to be out of reach for me. It's a Studio 540 desktop which is really underpowered as of right now(I only get about 6 fps currently, otherwise I'd have to go back to 1.2).:( I'm looking for the following things that are powerful, but aren't overpriced: 2GB Graphics card 8GB Memory RAM 700W Power Supply and Processor(Quad Core). Are there any sites that could be helpful to look up?

Evening all. I'm having trouble w/some skin files and what to do or where to put them. Some of them are in compressed zip folders, while others tell me they're RAR files. What do i do w/these types of files to open the skins in dcs?

As I was assessing through the payloads, there are some weapons that I never knew that could be fitted onto the plane(the only sim similar to this I play[ed] was Lockon Modern Air Combat). But what I don't understand is....well.....some of their capabilities. Like, the BDU-50HD. It's a new weapon they've established, yet what does it do. Or the ALQ-184...is it an upgraded jammer or somethin? I searched the manual and encyclopedia regarding the weapons but no luck. Can anyone explain to me these new payloads? And howcome there's nomore LAU-61's or Rockeyes in the selection anymore?

Have the dcs crew ever set up any type of social media sites that can be linked directly to the main website like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc? Could be really useful for those who want to keep being updated on things.:smilewink:

So I just started flying the A10A, and went to go practice my weapons. I press the 7 for a2g mode. Rockets are selected across the board, but when I attempt to fire off, the cannon comes blowing out. Tried using the Weapons Release, came for another try, still the gun blows. Why aren't the rockets firing as supposed to?

Not likely. I currently have 1.2, that's about it. The reason I'm downloading fc3 is to buy it later on, if possible. I don't have the Nevada map either, nor the C-Hog. Edit: It only says "Buy" on the Module Manager. I checked.

I'm trying to download FC3 due to most of the http servers stopping short around 740 MB, and the last time I did an ftp download was an absolute hassle. Edit: That and corrupt source files w/unfinished download. I do have the torrent for fc3, but I'm unsure at what that does to help the problem.

Need some help on how to deal with ftp mirrors since I honestly have no clue whatsoever. I ask this because the first time I ran into this, I completely gave up on downloading for a while then switched to http.:helpsmilie::helpsmilie: What is ftp and its purpose in dcs downloading? What to use when using ftp mirrors for downloading? Where to go when ftp downloading is done? How or where do I run said download w/ftp mirror? What to do when ftp isn't running or redirects you to another window or such? Thank you.

I'm currently trying to download the FC3 pack on the dcs site, but the servers 1 and 4 stop it short of the said goal and the files seem corrupted. I even downloaded the torrent to see if it does any good, but both servers are stalling it short. I wrote up a ticket about this, but no response so far. Are the modules changed or something or what?:helpsmilie:

I've recently been given a new module after winning a giveaway, and got the serial number as is, downloaded and installed said module. However, when trying to enter in the serial number, it tells me it's an invalid number. I've entered it in correctly again, and it still shows the same message. Is there a way to fix this issue?
