  1. I don't have my PointCTRL yet, but I do have an O+ and haven't experienced this mouse focus issue people are talking about. I don't even know what it is.
  2. Is 2.5.5 still the one that includes the VR optimization?
  3. This is incredibly exciting. I’d love to see a mission video.
  4. Just wanted to pop on and share my experience with my new 10cm extension from Sahaj. It is amazing. I can’t compare it to other extensions, since this is the only one I have, but it arrived super quick (ordered in USA on 4/23 and it arrived from Poland on 5/4). It came with a little extension cable to connect the stick. It installed super easy. I can’t believe what a difference this small extension makes while flying. I’ve never been in love with the response from the Warthog stick, even with curves, but this extension fixes any issue I had with it. It makes the stick so much more responsive. I just love it.
  5. Hey, I didn’t mean to come off like I was calling you out or anything. I just wanted to share my excitement. I’m sorry that it seemed like I was complaining. :)
  6. I just wanted to say that I am really looking forward to this. I’ve always felt that the built-in training missions for the A-10C don’t work well for me, personally. As such, I’ve been slowly learning the Warthog by playing through Baltic Dragon’s TEW3.0 campaign. The quality of that has been great and I can’t wait to try these training missions. This will be a day one buy for me.
  7. Thank you for that. No, I don’t have Monstertech. I ordered mounts from Foxx. :)
  8. Would you mind sharing which arms you have these attached to? I’m about to reattach my MFDs and want to do exactly the same thing. I’m concerned that pushing a button will cause the MFD to move away from me slightly. If your arms are rigid and don’t do that, I’d love to know which ones they are.
  9. Also, VoiceAttack has a dictation mode that can be used to type into the scratchpad using voice. My goal is never to use the keyboard. At this point, if I have to use the keyboard for anything, I make a note of it and attempt to incorporate it into VoiceAttack. “Toggle scratchpad” will press the shortcut to toggle the scratchpad mod, for instance. :)
  10. Thanks for the review. I ordered mine 5 weeks ago and I’m eagerly awaiting their arrival. I also fly in VR so it sounds like it’s going to be amazing. :)
  11. Does anyone have suggestions for getting these into the DCS kneeboard? I know about Kneeboard Builder, but the kneeboard is portrait orientation and these PDFs are landscape. EDIT: Nevermind! Kneeboard Builder allows you to set a kneeboard profile that accommodates a widescreen PDF. :)
  12. I will mention a consideration that ends up affecting me a lot, personally. The F-14 is great if you have someone to fly with. Jester is cool and all, but it was very clearly designed for two players. If you’re like me and you don’t have anyone to fly with, the FA-18 is probably a better choice. If you’ve ever wanted to mess with the A-10C’s systems but wished it was faster and more exciting, the FA-18 is calling.
  13. Any chance of Samsung Odyssey+ support? Due to several massive sales recently, I think it’s fair to guess that there are a lot of DCS users who use the Odyssey+. If support isn’t possible right now, is there any chance you might be able to provide some information that we could use to 3D print a mount ourselves? Thanks! :)
  14. Thanks for adding me to the list, but I just realized: there was no mention of mounting for the Dell Visor. Miles, any chance of support for the Dell Visor? EDIT: I realize now you’re nearing release so adding support for another headset may be tough. I have a 3D printer at home, so I may be able to make my own mount, for what it’s worth. EDIT2: My Dell Visor broke so now I’m using a Samsung Odyssey+
  15. I just learned about this device and I’m eager to buy one. Please add me to the list for purchasing. :)
  16. I’ve been thinking about putting some LED strips under my desk to possibly aid in this. Now that I know it’s not just me, I may try it.
  17. I don’t know if this is typical or not and would appreciate it if other WMR users can weigh in on this. When looking down to the left or right side areas of the cockpits (oxygen switches on Tomcat, for instance), my view will offset a little bit until I look up. When I do, my view resets back to normal. I can’t figure out if this is unique to me.
  18. Is it possible to use axis controls for the two RIO PTTs? My understanding is that they used foot pedals for this. It would be great to use our existing rudder pedal wheelbrake axis.
  19. Does anyone with modding experience know if it's possible to put a live image in a floating window? SRS has floating windows in VR. Is it possible to get a floating window to show a certain camera view? If so, this could be a script/mod.
  20. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't notice any artifacts on mine. The article did mention that it could happen, but I guess I'm lucky at the moment.
  21. I've been wrestling with issues with my WMR device with DCS the past couple weeks. It would intermittently return to the SteamVR loading screen while in flight. It would happen often if a model had to be damaged, but it would also happen randomly. If I removed my headset, I would notice that the flat DCS window was completely locked up during this time. I tried all kinds of things to solve this -- messed around with the graphics settings, tried the Process Lasso trick, and even did a clean reinstall of Windows. Nothing helped. On a whim, I opted into the beta branch of "Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR" on Steam and then manually enabled automatic motion reprojection in one of the config files. It solved the problem completely. The guide I followed is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/enthusiast-guide/using-steamvr-with-windows-mixed-reality#enabling-motion-reprojection-for-steamvr-apps And just to make it easy for folks that might try this themselves, here's the current configuration: Windows 10, fully updated SteamVR (beta) Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR (beta) Nvidia driver 397.93 Windows on SSD 1 SteamVR and WMR installed on SSD 1 DCS on SSD 2 Windows page file on SSD 3 i7 6700K (stock speeds) GTX 1080 (reference card) 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz RAM Sorry for the information dump, but I figured it can't hurt.
  22. It appears that this workaround only works if your input device has fewer than 32 buttons. Unfortunately, it looks like the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle has exactly 32 buttons. :(
