  1. i don't succed to install it ... I copy the file x:/DTAC2013 v2Hires/summer/r_for.tga.dds in D:/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Bazar/Temp Textures/ I launch the game, (i also tried to launch it as admin) but nothing change in the game (i checked to be in summer). am i doing wrong ? edit : i also tried to launch a mission in winter, with the summer file trees, and there are just default winter trees...
  2. Waww ! very nice !
  3. Yes, in my squadron, we also use ZU23 in P51-D missions.
  4. Updated page at dcs : http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/huey/ But still no "BUY" button....
  5. Hooooo thanks !! i've just found it ! i was only looking in the Windows7 start menu for the pdf manuals, i didn't know there was something like this in DCS folders ! thank you very much ! Edit : to Hijack : sorry, i can read English (with difficulties) but earing it is just too much for me  i don't really understand what they say in your video, witch is very frustrating as i'm a guitarist :detective:
  6. Okaaay ! here was my mistake, i understand now ! Tank you. So i just have to make an adaptation of my jeppsens with that trick and all will be correct ! Thank you again for your explanations and the time you spent for me ! :)
  7. Are you sure ? here is the jeppens chart legend : http://ww1.jeppesen.com/documents/aviation/business/ifr-paper-services/intro-USA.pdf you can read in it : "Runway designators (numbers) are magnetic unless followed by a "T" for true." And her, you can find a jeppsen of Maykop (page 9) indicating : 04 (for 039) - 22 (for 219) and there is no "T" for true... http://www.checksix-forums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20674&d=1264876320 That's why i say : your magnetic compass has to indicate the magnetic heading painted on the runway.
  8.... i wonder...Looking at attaching screenshot, i read 210° on the remote indicator compass, as the runaway has a magnetic heading of 218 , it should be nearest the 220 (like on the gyro compass if you look at it). For me there is still an 8-10° difference... Thank you EvilBivol-1 for the time you spent for it. But i think i will continu to navigate with the gyro compass witch is more precise in the sim ;) Thank you again !
  9. ho ! yes of course ! sorry
  10. Hoo ! i'm afraid i misunderstood something... You mean runaway headings given on a jeppsen map and writen on the runaway (22) are TRUE headings ? I thought it was Magnetic headings... Thank you very very much EvilBivol-1 !
  11. Not exactly the same but.... would be nice to have the same 6 dof in su33... with the same exterior 3D...:worthy:
  12. thanks A LOT for it but... No word about Remote Indicator Compass issues... :(
  13. Could you developpe it please ? Why sould we incriminate a mag var ? we don't want the compass to indicate the True North but the Magnetic North. And a Magnetic variation is the angle of difference between True North and Magnetic North. If you read the manual, you can see : Magnetic is magnetic, it should indicates the magnetic heading of the runaway... 218. Even if we adjust it with a magnetic variation, a 15° difference - 6°, we still have a 9° difference.... enormous compass deviation...
  14. Maykop has a runaway heading indicated at 218. On the screen below i'm on "take of from runaway" at Maykop. Look at what indicates my Remote Indicator Compass : 203 !! a 15° difference ! not bad ??
  15. So Remote compass has a (very) bad heading and Gyro compass accuracy degrades over time.... how do ED wants us to navigate without cheating ?? Does that mean no dev will have a look on it now ? they don't care any more about their realeased products ?? To ED, sorry if i'm a little irritated, but i've just bought a nice map TC-1 with all instruments to draw my road and calculate my flight....and i discover my plane has no flight instrument on witch i can trust !
  16. HOo Thanks !
  17. Hi, What happens with the 2 compass in our P51 ?? The Remote Indicator Compass shows a BAD HEADING since you’re on a runaway (approx. 8° to 10°)… The Giro Compass shows the RIGHT HEADING, and I should adjust it on the RIC (witch is bad) every 15 min ??!! Isn’t there a problem ? When I read the user’s manual Page 68: In our P51-D the RIC floats around and fluctuates when the aircraft is maneuvered ! In the opposite the Giro Compass don’t fluctuate where it should ! It just seems the datas sent by the software to those 2 instruments are inverted !
  18. Hi men, i just wonder if those "bugs" have been corrected ? I still have those problems with the AI aligment, and also the magnetic remote compass issue indicating a wrong headings ...
  19. Thank tou very much for that update !
  20. Hi, any news to give us Dart ? tanks for your work !
  21. Thank you EvilBivol !! but as i'm french, my english is poor so, just for confirmation : - if i understand well, i have to include (substract) the 6° of magnetic déclination in my calculation to keep my P51-D on the right road with my instuments. Am i ok ? Fortunately ! i want to navigate like in the old days ! thank you again !
  22. Is anybody from ED can answer please ?
  23. With a flare gun to indicate your position at the huey and paint if you are in the water ! :)
  24. Hi all, I would like to make a navigation with my P51-D but i have a question : What North is "modeled" in DCS World on our instruments ? is it the real North (same as on the map TC-1) or is it the Magnetic North ? in only one question : must i take care and include the magnetic declinations in the calculation of my angles ? Thanks in advance.
