I like that I can pre-set the size and location of the kneeboard. I have a 5120x1044 screen, so I like it closer to the center. Also, by default, it stretch's my HOTAS layouts/diagrams, and I have to move and resize it every time.. Other than that, I don't care about the colors, or creating individual profiles for all the aircraft. I would just make one or two general defaults.. Maybe after you look into it, if it's not too much of hassle, you could fix it. So much work was put into it, and the UI works fine. Just the backend, updating DCS, probably needs work?

Awesome work Grizz!! Thanks for your work on this. I was trying to setup a default Profile for ALL aircraft. But when I right-click on the icon in the SysTray, and select my profile, it crashes with this error: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: path Also, a question: 1. Once a profile is applied for All aircraft, will it be persistent? ie. Always be set to that profile between DCS closing and starting again? 2. And do we need to have KB running in the systray while we are flying?

Why is the 'Wingmen Camera' control assignment disabled for all controls? It's been like this since it was added. You cannot assign any devices to this view. What gives?? I love that view!

First I got the virus warning, and I excluded dcs.exe from the antivirus. Next I started getting the digital signature problem.. Anybody else getting this??

My Saved Games folder was from the Fresh Install. I had added my old Scripts folder, as well and config/input. I have shut down VoiceAttach, VAICOM, including OpenKneeboard. And I removed the OpenKneeboard files from the Saved Games\DCS\Scripts/Hooks folder. I also shutdown Process Lasso. I did not install the SA342 to the fresh install, but that error is in the Bazar folder, so it for just the AI, right? Still, an error.. This time the log had 172 errors. Probably because I was on a different map and aircraft. I was trying to troubleshoot a problem, and so I installed a brand new DCS World install and a new DCS in SavedGames folder. But I'm still getting over 150 errors in the log, which makes it much harder to track down an issue. What are all of these errors??? Especially, the 110 'negative drag of payload' errors? dcs.log

Hmm.. thanks for the reply. I have always been on the lookout for some way to change the F2 default view, from looking down, at an angle, at the aircraft, to a side view with the horizon in view. Just a peeve of mine.. You wouldn't happen to know how to do that?

D:\My Programs\DCS World\Config\View\Fluctus I had to look that word up. It has something to do with waves or I'm guessing fluctuations?

Like the title says.. I am in the process of reinstalling DCS fresh, and in my old install it also did this. Now I'm running the new install, and have the same problem. When I try to Create Fast Mission, the Season & Weather only have the 'RANDOM' choice, and no other choices.. dcs.log

If you have a widescreen monitor like I do, you can make all of the messages & menus center on your screen so you don't have to keep looking far left or right. I've done this for a long time with my triple monitors. And I've had a 5120x1440 monitor for a while now, but if you set the Scale UI to anything but 1, the cursor is offset in the Mission Editor. It's probably a simple fix, but it's at the bottom of the list... Centering your UI is awesome!! But I found a bug, and we need others to comment to get it fixed... Check the bug post here.

When customizing the MonitorSetup lua(see attached) to center the GUI on my wide 5120x1440 screen, and setting the 'Scale GUI' to 1.25, the cursor places objects off-set in the wrong location. This is repeatable. I have renamed my Saved Games DCS folder and started a fresh one. I've uninstalled all of my mods. I then did a full repair & search for extra files, which I deleted. DCS_ME_CURSOR_BUG.mp4 I had my 'Scale GUI' set to 1.25 because of my wide screen. When I just change that one setting to 1, the mouse clicks in the correct location and places objects under the mouse as it should. Thanks, Snacko Here is my Centered GUI in the Monitor Setup folder. I'm running 2.9.6, and this has been happening for about 2 updates that I noticed... *Zaqaziq* is missing from the end of the word list. Is this been removed? Or is something else wrong??

This also happens with the LShift + F4 view. Can someone with the dual widescreen setup like I described in the first post, please post a screenshot of these views. Or, if this was by design, just let me know, and I'll drop this issue. (I just don't believe this is by design.)

Is the command 'Speed Brake - Out (Hold)' supposed to close the speed brakes when you release the key/button? It doesn't work for me.

Thanks! My resolution is 5120x1440. So, 1/3 of the width is 1706(see below in Special Settings). I set 'HB UI Offset' to 0 and it is now centered(see bottom pic). Also, now the Bombing Table & Manual don't open off the right edge of the screen with only 1/4" showing. And the grease pencil & VB have also moved to the center. I have 4 buttons assigned to open those windows. Yesterday, when I pressed them they acted like a toggle. They would open and close the respective window. But today, they just open the windows and I do not close them. Here is the settings you asked for. And also my MonitorSetup settings. Now it is fixed I think.

I've seen a few comments about Jester being cut off in VR. But I have a different problem.. In 2D on my Wide screen, Jester is not centered. The wheel is off to the right side. And when I want to select some things on the left of the wheel, I have to turn my head so far left that I cannot see the wheel. I have tried changing the Special Options setting from Dynamic to Origin(? can't remember the names). But that did nothing. I was using a Monitor lua with the GUI centered, so I changed that back to the stock '1 Screen'. That also didn't help. Is this a known bug? Of is there another fix I can try?

Thanks for the reply. No I haven't tried turning off my other monitor but I will try that. And I have looked through the log file and I didn't see anything relative to this issue. I know that when you export MFDs to your other monitors, that DCS considers both monitor as some kind of container, and I'm wondering if it's using that in its calculations for these views. Although my monitor setup .lua file just defines my top monitor, and makes no reference to the bottom one. If you aren't seeing this these views and you have the same setup, with your main monitor on top and another monitor below, I'd love to see a screenshot of these views from your system.

Thanks for the reply again . I was able to log in by typing my email address and notepad and then copy and paste But yeah still it said the browser was the problem. Hope this can be fixed, I would love to just get in my YouTube music playlists..

I cannot login to Google or Youtube because the login screen won't type the period or @ which is needed for my email. My username has a . in it. It also won't log me in using my phone number. It says the browser is not secure. I do have chrome installed and logged into my account on the desktop browser. I've also disabled my Norton AV & Firewall. And I'm testing it in MT. Does it work in MT?

Is that tightness exacerbated on a Widescreen monitor? At first I thought I was forced to be so close because I'm running at 5120x1440... PS: Does the Tape Player only accept .wav files? Or will it accept .mp3 and other file types. And will the folder work with a Symbolic Link folder (to my music files)

I found 'this' a few months ago. Not sure if this is what you are all referring to. But if I am in F4 or RCtrl+F2 views, and I right click on the screen, I get a Bookmark toolbar across the top of my screen. See my post here.

I found this a while back, and cannot find any good info on how it works. Here is what I have figured out so far: If you right-click when you are in the F4 or RCtrl+F2 view you get a Camera/Clipboard menu across the top of your screen. It has 3 buttons: Predefined Bookmarks User Bookmarks Clipboard For me the DCS Predefined Bookmarks menu is empty. But I can see a line at the bottom, which is cutoff, so I wonder if it's just not displaying correctly. The User Defined Bookmarks has 2 items: Editor Visible These don't seem to do anything. The last button lets you Copy to Clipboard. I pasted this into notepad and it had this just had text defining the coordinates and angle of the camera. But I don't know what to do with that. However, I have found that if I save the view to the Clipboard and press F12, and it will zoom out and up from that view about 50 feet, and then drop you into the cockpit... After doing this a few times I noticed a wire-frame of the 'default' camera in the view. This looks like the Default position of the RCtrl+F2 camera. It would be awesome if we could predefine(bookmark) views that we could use over and over anytime for any aircraft. Does anybody know how this works??

... Is this considered a bug/issue? Or is this by design? The lack of any response has now got me wondering...
