So I got my $38 (29,99€) W8Pro edition and I think it was a good deal. If you want to wait, or stick with W7, do it. But I nontheless recommend to buy it now, just to safe money. Because one day you will need it.

What I´d like to know is, whether EDGE is a feature for Nevada only, or is it the future of all further ED land modules (if there are some about to follow after Nevada at all)?

Steam und DCS pssen nicht zusammen. Das ist zumindest meine Meinung. der grund ist ganz einfach der, das Steam Dir vorgibt was Du zu tun hast (installationsort etc.). Alles was ArmA und DCS angeht, macht bei mir einen riesen Bogen um Steam. Aber um auf Deine Frage zu kommen, ich glaube FC2 ist nicht per Steam verfügbar (zumindest finde ich es dort nicht und in der Suche taucht es auch nicht auf). Also denke ich, das es für FC3 genauso gelten wird und nicht über Steam zu kaufen sein wird.

To the Moderators and to ED, what is this about? I mean, I am waiting patiently and dont say or ask for anythings. But secretly uploading videos on an obvious regulary visited page on the webside without any comment is really confusing, espacially in this already sensitiv situation (recent threads and posts about FC3)...so please, a little information about this would really be apreaciated...what the heck is this about...I mean...what the f***? There´s no FC3 to put anythings into...so, this is really....really confusing. :helpsmilie:

In this case, I highly recommend to contact official support: link. Explain exactly what happens, also get the dxdiag file attached to the form and probably some screenshots. Meanwhile I am asking some of my friends whether they know what else could help to give the support proper information to help you. If support wont reply after a week, so contact a moderator of this Forum that they check whether ED simply has overseen this or if they are too busy to pay attantion earlier.

If it is not activated, so you cant get into the sim at all (exept for SU and ME of course). So I dont think that this is this reason. On another part of the forum it was mentioned that a RAM issue causes this...

If I need to vent my frustration about anythings so I start my super duper Arcade Far Cry 2 Game and kill all the bad boys...that helps me more than trolling around in international forums and risking a warning, a bann or what not, at least wouldnt that help my frustration level...As somewhere else mentioned already...I also still have got to learn enough about the hog...so I prefer the term...a good thing needs its time...so you find me in Africa again :joystick:

what we all need to understand is what actually happens here. I seem to believe that noone knows about the oppurtunity that ED is providing to us as well as that noone apreciates this. Other studios are closing their doors for yeasrs and wont reveal anythings until release day. Not the ED Community, we are all allowed to be part of the whole development process and thus we are also need to understand that things need time and things (as well as plans) can change out of nothings. So to all who are impatient and need to show that to all every day, calm down and get a step off of DCS. You´re way to deep into this Game. Play other games and dont care about any news or releases each day. ED is just about to create somethings great and I wont make them become annoyed about of us because we cant wait. There´s somethings great about to be available soon. Bridge over the time by playing somethings else or simply dont play at all. Built a pit or get a dog and spend time with it. It´ll satisfy you way more than asking the same question every day...

Isn´t EDGE the acronym for Eagle Dynamics Grafics Engine? I have read that somewhere, dont ask me where. And doesn´t Nevada be the very first module that will be developt by using this new Engine? so it somehow must be implemented in EDGE as well...Correct me if I am wrong.

May be I am wrong, but as far as I know so FC3 was included into the EDGE development procedure. Means, that FC3 will benifit of this new engine, so this further means that EDGE needs to be finished in first place in order to get all new modules like FC3 Nevada and the next ED Module to work under EDGE. To make it short, it still may take a while. I´d play somethings else and check the forums once a week for potentially updates if you cant wait.

If the module is not activated so you cant select it for getting into the Cockpitview. But you can see it in external view and as AI controlled AC. But this also doesnt work for him as well.

That seems to be an RAM issue, how much RAM do gou got installed? At least according to the cockpit view issue. Please post your PC Specifics, installed operating system, and procedure about how did you installed the game, and how do you usually start the game? Please also check whether the latest C++ (redestructable 2010) is installed
