What do you mean by other input devices? additional keyboards? Can you please specify that a little more. What Joystick do you have actually? My guess is that the dog is hidden there. what about remapping the Joystick with most of the necessary inputs and remopve all other devices, may be we´ve a hardware or driver issue here.

why activating DCS World??...theres no need to acticate world, you need to activate thze modules you purchased. World is a free product now, which comes with one flyable SU-25. Just to make sure, you were able to play BS2 after installing 1.2.1? Then it magically didn´t work anymore? So sorry for that stupid question...are you sure that you´ve downloaded the software you need?

Hello everybody, me and a few friends have a rootserver together. I´d like to run DCS World as Hostserver on that rootserver. The rootserver covers following technical details: technical details CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 --> 3,4 GHZ RAM: 8GB (not sure yet whether it is DDRIII or not) GFX: Radeon HD 4200 integrated GPU (latest driver installed today) everytime when I want to start DCS World it crashed right in the loading screen process (DCS is no more working). What have I done yet? DCS Wold is installed and updated Graficdrivers installed DirectX installed Communication with rootserver while running DCS World via Teamviewer (installed and configurated). No communication via Remote while start. Made sure that no other user is connected to the rootserver no other application is / was running in the background checked the logs folder, but there were no log file saved yet. I think that the process gets killed before it even can save the logfile I am actually a bit out of ideas what else to do. Is there anythings I still have forgotten? It would be nice if someone know what I else have to do

is there any news around how´s debugging getting forward?

indeed, this is an awesome enhancement of the whole software which makes it pretty much more userfriendly and easy to handle, great thing that ED decided itself for that way. Thanks

may be you use too much stuff that simply blocks too much. Are you as well one of those users who let the semantics of a HTML Code displayed only?

DCS World Update thread I thought that it wouldnt make any sense to always create a new threat as soon as a new patch has been released, so what about using this thread to point to a new update and probably discuss it. I think that we will have a lot of patches ahead...so one dedicated thread should be good though. Please post further patch notes and release announcements in this thread (I hope the Mods dont mind me :police:), thanks

What a new update? even that I forced my shortcut to always check for new updates I dont recieve any new one...I am still at 6055

I tried a few aplication starts and it seems to force the servers only if somethings new is available (as it is actually supposed to be anyways), so I think the servers wont suffer too much ;)

Reorganized a little the whole thing. So I merged the DCS World related stuff into one page from where it roots to respective modules, including Nevada Map. The Lock on titles (up to FC2) are merged with DCS Standalone products in one category onto the main page to seperate them from the World stuff. Though the whole thing now provides a better overview about the previous, current and yet to be released products. I also added the third party dev Teams as new pages

@Mad Tommy,I had the same issue. I suggest to rightclick the DCS Wold shortcut and in the target line behind the quotes write update...should look like this then. This will force the updater to check and verify the existing files every time you run the exe. In your actual case this will make sure that the update process will continue at this position where it stoped before.. Credits for this suggestion goes to =STP= Teumel, who told me before.

+1, I like to remember myself back to the times where I was dreaming of a PC at all. I saw a Flight Simulationgame and thought...oh my god..is that cool...one day...one day such a great game will by mine...and today? 20 years later I´ve got the best simulator I´ve ever seen. This Simulator covers all my dreams I had before and I am enjoying it pretty much. So waiting for somethings new doesnt make any sense at all, because that means I would always wait for somethings new, so I rather enjoy the modules I have until today and learn how to use them, to gain my fun while flying...to live my ever dreams... even if I hate you...Thanks ED, for that awesome experience :D

We have had a smililar issue tonight (STP). I made a bellylanding with my Hog, after a StA Missile (dont know what it was) hit me and shot the entire right mainwheel out of its store (dont know how that rocket did that...) anyways, pretty much as the A/C stopped sliding, the game crashed. But it didn´t just for me, it did for all players. The server did not crash. Because this was a private event, we got tasked to send the crashlogs to Groove, in the hope that ED can find a reason for those crashes. I dont know whether the crash was caused due to my crash / bellylanding, or a wrong Joystick input...we´ll see.

That makes it even harder to reproduce and track down the root of that issue. I can image that this kind of work can be a pain in the ass for the testers and the devs... But it is nontheless pretty much annoying though

same for me, cant login to MP anymore..I always end up in a Crash...

interesting, could you please tell me then why I can not run any ED Product without this Administrator crap? I even have to be logged into my Administrator account just to install a product

I dont know...you need to perform the special task to the aplication "run as admin" either manually or preset the aplication via rightclick / properties / compatibility. There one can set the aplication to always run as admin, so you wouldnt get any appearence of UAC at all if you´ve disabled it...but in my case I didn´t... may be one day I´ll learn that DCS always and ever needs this...at least for me

I think I found the reason for this issue...I have the upgrade version purchased...I also have the Black Shark 1 Version installed and activated...but when I compared the installer files again, so I noticed that I have downloaded the wrong file...I downloaded the one for the Full version...sometimes one cant see the forest because of all the trees... Downloading the upgrade 1.2.1 installer for BS2 now..

this is awesome...I really can´t believe that this has happened...As I am sitting on my Administrator account...I seemed to forgot the basic rule No1...not only install as admin...also run as admin...god damnit...now it works...so problem solved
