  1. Hey there K-51, I just wanted to say how amazing your Collective is. I´ve ordered my Collective 3 years ago and it still works like on day 1. I just wanted to say thank you and I hope that you will be able to make many many more. Best regards, Memphis
  2. do you have a reference? Wags said that there will be a Vietnam map, but no one is yet working on it
  3. where is it stored? I have the same Collective but never bothered with the firmaware as K51 mentioned not to touch it, so I dont know where to find this.
  4. I´m absolutely seconding this. It really can be a pain in the ass to jump in the Mission quite a lot just to build a good ground structure
  5. did you clicked on the Tab which says POVs?
  6. I was just testing the P47 in Trial and selected Bernay Saint Martin Airfield on the Normandy 2.0 Map. On lining up I suddenly crashed due to a step in the Mesh that broke my left wheel, images attached
  7. Thanks for your hint with the tools. I did not checked that earlier. Will give it a try now
  8. Can I please get a detailed description of how to work with Repositories? No matter what I try, I can't get them to work and there´s no documentation on how to create them the Tutorial Video also just states how to add a URL, but the URL to my repository from OvGME does not work.
  9. A bit late response, but what exactly are you about to do? You can rename the buttons to better identify them but you can not assign a button the function of another button. What do you want to fix there on the Warthog? You mean they are damaged and need to be replaced and you wonder if it effects the functions assigned in RS Mapper?
  10. Today I did spend some time adding CasmoTV´s content to my website. Thus he got his own Section in the F-15E Tutorial Series as well as his Channel has been added to the YouTube Favourites which one can find at the top of each page. I think that he created lots of valuable stuff and thus deserved that step, go on Casmo with your efforts, they are great. F-15E Tutorial Series collection
  11. F-15E Tutorial Collection has been added to the Tutorial Collection Website http://www.dcs-tutorial-collection.de/contents/pages/F-15E_tutcol.php EDIT: There´s been an error in the Code that prevented one to enter the F-15E Tutorial Collection, one always has landed on the F-15C page. The mistake has been fixed and it works now.
  12. I will not too. I mean, the Mudhen is a great Jet, but I still did not purchased it...but the Phantom will be a day 1 purchase for me.
  13. Seeing now how the F-15E release happened, I wonder about a very specific point. Will you remain silent like RAZBAM did and reveal the release day with the actual EA release? I think that this is a bad move. At a certain point, it should be clear when a release seems obvious, why not communicate it then? I do not speak of months prior, but rather days or "2 weeks", but this time for real. Have you guys already discussed that? Will the unveil also mean release or can we expect another unknown period of time of silence after the unveil? Thanks
  14. Yeah, I know the background Story with the Phantom, I was very very disappointed when I learned that it was postpobed/canceled. Thats why I said last year that I'm extremely happy that HB took over the Project and make it not only their new Flagship Module but also having it served as Software Framework for future Modules, incl. Jester 2.0 which are all in all reasons to be extremely happy. I do not blame them for missing release Windows, but I'm a friend of meaningfull Communication. Thats why I made the above Statement which I mean to be a general Process (not only HB) as the Community wont get unnecesarrily hyped and then Disappointed like the Kiowa Drama (please refuse to act on that example, I also know the background with Polychop). I still believe that Dev Teams in general would have an easier life if their Products would be announced past QA Test and when a release date can be given. But I mentioned that way too often and it does not seem to care anyone, thus Dev Teams have to life with a hyped and mad Community if goals cant get reached as planned.
  15. Sorry, but you completely missed my points. You treat me like the biggest yeller and complainer which I'm clearly not. Yes, I asked questions and recieved answers but there are others outside who really get mad atm. I'm just talking about solutions on making the life easier for the Devs and the Customers. I'm Member of the DCS Community since the very first LOMAC, thus I know how things are working. But expressing Ideas which are supposed to make things easier (whether they are good or not) and crying for a release date are completely different things imho. Personally I'm looking forward more for the unveil as I wont have much time to dig in deep into all the Systems, at least not this year.
  16. hmm, I don't necessarily see Dev's failures here as we all know that Software Development can be a PITA, especially with such a highly dynamic and evolving Platform which is DCS. I really raise my had for these guys who voluntarily do the Job where every update can break a lot of stuff which has been achieved. That encourages me, even more, to state for a radio silence to the Customer base. 3rd Party devs can for sure exchange Details among each other and ED, but without being public. I still believe that this would make much more sense and would help the Devs and the Customers. Production milestones can be shared post-release which would be an ontop cherry for the Customers.
  17. The Problem is on a different topic and that one is called, Communication. The F-4 was announced in 2021 to be available in 2022. This release timeframe, respectively the timeframe for the Unveil to happen has been approved by HB to happen in October 2022. Then things happened and a delay occurred which was explained by Cobra in a Reddit statement. Then it was mentioned that we will see the unveil (and thus the release shortly after) in early 2023 and again HB said that we don't have to wait yet another half a year which was mentioned end 2022 beginning 2023. Release plans and Reality always collide and they always accompany expectations on the Customer side. We always get the Information from Cobra that the Developing process is very close to being done and an unveil is around the next corner...and then, nothing except another newsletter in March 2023 which diverts from any "you´ll get it in your hands soon" Statements. And now tell me that impatience is Customer's fault The Problem is wrong Communication, and I´m very serious when I say now that I consider any kind of Communication wrong if it happens within a state of development where a release date can not be set. I really wish that ED and all 3rd Party devs would finally stop announcing Modules years before the release. We have lots to do and lots to learn and lots to fly on, we do not necessarily get to be teased and triggered with the next highly anticipated Module which is promised to be released within the next few months just to get disappointed once again. I wish we would get to hear the very first announcement of a module at a stage where a release is dependent on marketing and not Developer questions anymore, but no...we keep on getting teased with hope to sit in our Childhood dream Aircraft very soon whereas we are actually not because the release was once again delayed and Communication went silent by Dev teams to focus better on the work...why not be silent until the work is done and the Module ready to release?
  18. is it possible to get an idea about how soon will be soon?
  19. Mi-8 Multi Crew is planned but not on a high rank on ED´s priority list due to multiple Projects with higher priority. I can imagine that we will hear something about it past the Chinook release (OB)
  20. That was where I looked first but did not found the update on their Discord (I´m a member there since a while already), then I just found it on their Reddit, thx
  21. That's appreciated, but why is Cobra never posting those things here in the Forums? @jaguara5where did you find that?
  22. These type of speculations have never worked out yet and I'm sure they never will. At the end it comes down to, it's done when its done. But a little more communication would indeed be nice.
  23. yeah, they are right. They are so transparent, we don't really get to see anything
  24. Thanks, thats quite a useful step towards a well balanced Logistic System within DCS which will hopefully expanded more when the Chinook drops
  25. Damnit, haha...I'm not used to reddit but wondered why the likes look same like the Forums. OK, that was then a bit of a kidding myself...but this may help to spread the word even more.
