  1. I didn't read all the thread, I just received an e-mail informing of this sale. And whether I end up using it or not, I just wanted to say thank you to ED.
  2. For the rudder, I apply quite a strong curve in the axis adjustment. Then on the runway y apply very, very soft pressure and I do just fine during take off.
  3. Thanks for the advices, I´ll take them, I will explore the MP and certainly have a look at other helos! The Mi-8 will probably come next, see if my wallet can go double this weekend. Gazelle... I don't think my system can hold this one.
  4. I hope guys you forgive that I don't have Nevada terrain, and you let me participate in the thread sharing my challenge. Not on a truck, nor a crane (you guys rock!!!), but well, I'm still quite happy with landing on the control tower roof. Looking forward to get Nevada, looks nice and a good scennery for the Huey! ${1}
  5. I didn't think I would ever get a helicopter. Not at least while there are so many fixed wing planes waiting for my wallet. Yesterday something clicked in my head an I couldn't resist. This has been some kind of revelation. After all of those fighters, all that "align runway, full throttle, pull the stick", the Huey feels again like flying, if you know what I mean. I have honestly found it easier to handle than the general comments made me think, but it's lots of fun, you don't just let it fly you, you have to fly it. This is a 'hello my fellow Huey pilots' post. You know, one of those 'glad to have discovered you and looking forward to fly with you'.
  6. Interesting. Maybe a hard pedal can rotate tour nose to one side, getting rid of the wind pressure on the roof. If you are high enough, maybe you could even counter the effect. I'll try this also.
  7. So... my first day among Sabres and MiGs. I think the sabre has to be as nice as the MiG. I am reeeeeeally having fun. The reason for this post is to say a BIG THANK YOU for setting up the Georgian Spring server mission. It is where I go to fly. Ok, I have been killed by the AI, I have crashed because of overspeed, I have stalled and I have crashed when landing. But hey, I need maybe a bit of time. During the next days I will be patrolling around if you need an easy target (yes, even easier than the AI).
  8. Thank you for your advice. In fact I was heading to the Sabre. But you know how unpredictable love is. You know because you tried to explain why you enjoy the MiG better and it's hard to. I watched videos and found that I should probably start with the Sabre, but catched myself wanting the MiG. I'm the happy owner of a MiG-15!!! (See you next month, Sabre)
  9. Hi all. After the latest news about the Sabre being final (not beta any more) I am looking into it. Thing is... I am also looking at the MiG-15, and I am in serious doubt between both. Ah, decisions... Eventually I will possibly get both, but I have to start with one. I'd like to know if any of the readers of this post normally plays in european time during nights, and if you do, which of these birds do you fly. I guess I will see you online this week.
  10. I am new to this module. Enjoying it since minute 1. I have only had it for 3 days and love it. Can't wait for the upgraded FM, but certainly this manual will ease my wait in the mean time. Good job!
  11. Thanks for the plain advice. Checking the price, I'll go for some intermediate solution to my indecission: I'll go for the A10C and maybe will also get the cheap F-15. I could do as you say and get the Mirage instead exactly for the reasons you say (nice model and A2A & A2G), but I'm a bit worried about performance. i5, 8GB Ram and NVIDIA GTX750. I'm generally worried about those models who's minimum requirements are already a 2GB video card. I'll eventually have to face it, but I don't want to get frustrating low FPS in my first purchase.
  12. Hi all as well New one here also. Just took advantage of this thread to say hello. I come from FSX/X-Plane and with DCS I'm having a real blast. Two days already learning the Frog, and I'm ready to start spending money :) Today I'll be upgrading, just that at this point I don't know where to start, considering these options: - A10C - Yes, I like hardcore. - FC - it has planes. An F-15 there, ya know... although I might miss a bit of the hardcore thingy... - Mirage 2000 - Looks nice, but will I regret not having bought the A10C instead? There is already a bomber for free in DCS, and I also want a fighter, but the Mirage is not for me as iconic. But it still looks great... ahhhh... could anyone decide for me? Please? please??????
