  1. Hello All, With as much anticipation that this module will bring I was looking at it more closely and noticed there are some missing crew members and incorrect crew launch positions. I know its not out yet and that there are lots of features to be added and fixed, however if someone doesn't bring this stuff up or post about it then its a slim chance if it will be noticed or added. Missing Catapult Centerdeck Operator: In between CAT 3 & 4 there is a green shirt that will usually sit inside a open panel. This green shirt is the Catapult Centerdeck Operator's job. Inside the panel the green shirt has communication with catapult control relaying aircraft type, gross weight and the side number, and assisting the Catapult Officer (or, Shooter) in selection of different launch settings. Each plane requires a different catapult setting based on weight. Currently from the videos I've seen and all posted images from ED. This crew member is missing. The hatch in Red ----------- The IRL view from that position Topic Two: Aircraft Prioritization/ Shooting Order One thing I've noticed is that when two aircraft are attached to two catapults at the same time the AI crew doesn't appear to hold the other aircraft and stay within their safety spots till the other aircraft is launched. What should happen is, say cat 4 just launched an aircraft and planes are lined up behind cat 3 & 4. One aircraft gets lined up on cat 4. Crew brings the aircraft in and applies the hold back bar and the crew tell the pilot to wait. The non-essential(ie. The crew from cat4) turns and sits behind the red and white striped line. Cat 3 and its crew load an aircraft and then immediately launch it. The crew for cat 3 get out of the way and move to their safe location while the cat4 crew sets up for a quick launch on cat 4. The crew resets for the next planes. Here is a video of what this would look like from the Catapult Safety Observer: ${1} There are some more smaller items I can go on about like how they keep the red catapult shuttle guard and the different hold back bars in between the cats and so forth but you get the idea. The current progress is better than any other game or sim out there has tried to achieve, however if you wanna push it further to how it is, these changes would make a big difference.
  2. No I can confirm None of the Theme Songs are present, tried the A-10C, F-14B etc nothing works but the F-16C theme
  3. It looks like 2017 is supported but I did ask if they could add support for 2018 and 2019 as that is the most recent and readily available software. This probably wont happen until the dev team update their license from 2016 to 2018 or 19. However if there is a Eagle Dynamics developer in here please add support for atleast 2018.
  4. VERMONT ANG Decided to pay tribute to the ANG who would be my 9AM alarm clock. I have been working at getting this to be a complete pack and will be available online shortly. Created an entire pack for the 158th including the lead aircraft skins.
  5. First post in a while but this, these guys have put in so much air time with their F-16s they deserve that much.
  6. Hello all, I took a hiatus from DCS since I was in college for Game Art & Animation (Didn't have any time). Well I was in college I lived in Northern Vermont, Burlington to be exact. Burlington is home to the US ANG Green Mountain Boys who flew the F-16D Block 52. The F-16 squadron just recently left to be updated to the F-35's and will be back in September. If there is to be another American Map created it should be the State of Vermont. Vermont has a bunch of airports and military sites including Plattsburgh AFB, in NY which is now decommissioned (but for DCS it can still be real). Montreal, Canada to the North and large span of both mountain range with large forests to massive flat farmland. In the winter the state is transformed. If we want another forest map besides Caucuses then this would be a fantastic option. The state is a mid range. Not to large and not to small. Lots of places to fly/ fight. Plenty of geography and monuments to add like Fort Ticonderoga, many Vermont covered bridges, and etc. It would be interesting to see how another American map would work in DCS.
  7. So I have been working on a project as an intern for an EA title and I was looking at some aircraft blogs and stumbled across this site. I have never seen anything like this. I figured I could post this as it could be useful for the developers working on the F-14A&B as a fellow game artist I know that the more reference, the more, or less cups of coffee and sleepless nights will persist :megalol: Love DETAIL!!! https://siregar3d.com/category/grumman-f-14-wip/page/3/
