  1. I had the same issue, I fixed it by taking the me_route.lua supplied in the mod and put the values into the one from the game files.
  2. Unfortunately, Bort number locations are part of the model itself and can’t be changed.
  3. Excellent work on the update. There is a small issue though, the FCLP Box tends to flicker when the player is moving around the camera or in an aircraft, tested on flat ground.
  4. I did a little more testing and the cause was my HDD, I deleted DCS World and reinstalled it and the Tomcat onto the SSD and the stuttering was gone, I was surprised that DCS only took up around 65Gb as a clean install. I had just enough room to squeeze a clean DCS install onto the SSD. Looks like I have to invest an another SSD just for DCS World. Thank You for the suggestion. Hornet_101
  5. So first of all, Thank you Heatblur for making such an amazing module, the amount of detail is astonishing. Anyways, I recently discovered that DCS develops intense stuttering whenever I fly the Tomcat. So, I decided to investigate the issue and figure what may be the cause. I set up a simple mission with a departure out of Nellis, no other units were present. The typical route was out towards Creech and around the target ranges. I also removed all of my mods. My Specs Intel Core i7-6700K @4 GHz 16GB DDR4 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD (DCS installed on HDD as OS is on SSD) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Windows 10 64bit I first had a look at Task Manager to see if everything looked OK. Everything looked like it was running decently, CPU was doing fine and GPU was running as intended, nothing out of the ordinary. However, I did notice that my disk usage had spiked whenever a stutter occured. I then lowered all of my DCS settings to minimum and removed all my settings from NVIDIA Control Panel. It offered no improvement as the stutters remained constant. My disk usage had also dropped after I performed this step. I did notice that the stutters had always occurred when going to a new area of the map, if I were to turn around and backtrack, the stutters would disappear for around 30 to 50 seconds, they would then return as before. I had turned up the preload radius as this could improve the issue. It had only a marginal result on performance and the stuttering was slightly improved. I then reset my CPU clock back to 4Ghz, which had further improved the stuttering, but they were still very prominent. I tested other aircraft to see if i could repeat the results, however they ran buttery smooth with zero stutters. I also tested other maps, Caucasus has stuttering but isn't as aggressive as NTTR or Persian Gulf. Given the results, other aircraft such as the F/A-18 or the A-10C had no issues while the F-14 had massive stuttering, Particularly on NTTR and the Persian Gulf. My DCS settings were no factor as the issue was still occurring with the minimum settings. My CPU clock may have been a contributing factor but only had a marginal improvement. I concluded that the Tomcat may be the cause of the stuttering. I have so far been unable to find a solution, any recommendations would be appreciated. I am not the brightest when it comes to computers so please forgive me:), Hornet 101
  6. Check your Terrain Texture settings, The mod is made for high terrain textures
  7. The F/A-18 does have some cockpit shake to it and I reckon that the F-14 has way too much cockpit shaking, I could be wrong but that's just my opinion.
  8. Check these ones out, mostly on page 3 https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/index.php?CREATED_BY=Jack1&set_filter=Y&arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=6&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=535&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC
  9. Yeah, I've come across this too. It hasn't bothered me much but it still does to an extent.
  10. I think this setting would benefit lots of users so they could keep a high draw distance of objects and trees with the benefit of keeping a good balance of FPS. This setting could be a slider, as the slider goes down, more trees are removed until a certain point before they all completely disappear.
  11. I've noticed in these past few updates that the cockpit shaking and rattling during stalls and spins has disappeared. I'm not sure if its removal was intentional or if it was by mistake but having it back would be great.
  12. Yeah I'm using GIMP and i have the same problem.
  13. The official Yak-52 template is out on the DCS website. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/texture_templates/yak-52_template/
  14. Just saw your Japanese YAK-52 on the user files, I'll give it a try soon! If you could send your template to me then that would be great.
  15. I'm interested in doing a few actually, but that one will definitely be one of them!
  16. Will we expect to see a YAK-52 texture template?
  17. I noticed that too, wasn't mentioned in the patch notes. Both variants of the Hornet have a gold tinted front windscreen. It's a little faint but its there.
  18. I've noticed that when using any other repaint for the clipped wing Spitfire apart from the RAF Standard, zooming out from the model will revert the scheme back to the RAF Standard Scheme. It seems to be something with the Level of Detail model not accepting the other schemes. This is the exact same model and it appears like this in-game.
  19. Now that you have mentioned it, it did sound like a hardware calibration issue. I remember having a similar issue with the old logitech extreme 3d pro, but why bother trying to fix that when you got a Thrustmaster Warthog for christmas that year.
  20. Have you ever thought about doing this Mustang scheme?
  21. This is a really cool mod, but on the PFM version the control surfaces are flickering. Would you have a fix for this?
  22. The only way i know how to do that is delete the objects that are located at that airport in DCS World\Mods\terrains\CaucasusBase\Structures\High\EDM. But that is only if you are talking about 1.5, i have never attempted it in 2.0.
  23. I have noticed in the new update today that the RAF standard scheme appears much worse than the previous updates. It appears much brighter than the other schemes and the shading seems to have disappeared.
  24. I wouldn’t vote for a Cessna or Piper, however I would like to see the turboprop powered T-6 Texan II simply because it’s a training aircraft in addition a light attack platform. That means it would have some worthiness of use in the multiplayer arena and it won’t get boring after the first two weeks of use.
