  1. The pictures he just posted has half of them with, "active" 120's on wingtips and one is claimed to be taken over Afghanistan... I think that should answer the question of, "do we fly our operations with them in that configuration".
  2. Because of needed Documentation for an accurate simulation of the aircraft. Most information needed for P-47 was lost and so the process has been lengthened unfortunately.
  3. I would love to see RC East since I served in the providences there and a lot of fighting takes place in that command AO. The Soviets had a number of major battle in the area with Kherwar in Logar where the Soviets lost a Division I believe and the are was named the Bowl of Death then the US made a COP out there about a Km away from the Soviet post where they were ambushed and overran. You also got FOB Shank and Altimor that are about a km away from each other, Tangi Valley, Korengal Valley both areas would make flying and support missions more complex and give Rotor guys OP and COP that may need medvac or supplies with steep ledges on the sides of ridglines that would add a hard job to land close enough to unload and load cargo maybe even having to hover with just one skid down... Either way I am glad it is being added and hope it is in the eastern part where majority of the fighting took place.
  4. Are you trying to troll or you just like to argue the Symantecs of the words used to say the same thing? It does effect the wings ability to generate lift...
  5. That is exactly what his statement says, "it deflects air from the elevator " which is a control surface...
  6. When I do air starts or even on the ground after pressing alt+home it does not read my throttle axis at all, the rest of the throotle quadrant button and switches read but the actual throttle axis it does not pick up, and if I switch to another aircraft it picks it up fine... thank you for the reply.
  7. Good afternoon guys, I decided to go for a joyride in my Dora and noticed that my throttle stick and my hotas setings for aircraft was reset, so redid them and noticed that my throttle imput was not reading so tripple checked my mappings and settings. I started to trouble shoot my Hotas thinking that may have taken a dump when and looked like it was reading on that end, so tried a different aircraft and throttle imput works fine, but for the FW I can not for the life of me to get it to work. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if maybe this could be a bug. :helpsmilie: Thanks for all the insight. Best Regards, Kevin
  8. Resolved now, user error. Thank you so much for the insight.
  9. Do you mean I need to go clockwise on the control settings even though the F18 numbers don't correspond with the cougars?
  10. The same thing happends for me and I did mine clockwise.
  11. Was there a new update today on one of your glorious guides?
  12. As cool as it would be to have a Tempest, I think it will be like how the P-47 is today and just not have enough information available to make a complete module... if you look at Kermits videos about his Tempest 2 and 5 restoration projects they have been dealing with a lack of needed information to complete key areas in their restoration progress. We can all hope though.
  13. How would you compare the new sounds to the DMR sound mod for those who have used it? Thanks.
  14. Thank you so much for all this effort Chuck, these are amazing and you are awesome man! :book:
